Because on the T & C it says that a different Usage Limit applies to different package.

The war has begun... "Direct" "Open" comparison...i hope those competitors don't sue DiGi for "false" info...

http://www.digi.com.my/broadband/packages_comparison.html

Too bad iZZinet is not in DiGi's mind...
*
lol since its not related to iZZi, why you post it here?

They changed it long time liao lar..Only now we notice the T&C after Soonvee came and post it here .

Anyway their FUP sucks since it doesnt mantain the service quality at all.

With or without the FUP we still suffer from slow speed. You'd nvr get full 1mbps speed now days. Average 400-500 kbps.

As long as they don't meet the 80% of their advertised speed and uptime, you have all the right to claim for compensation from them as well.

When you don't pay they come after you for the remaining months or the credit card company comes after you for not settling it. So it's time consumers return the same treatment. Let the credit/loan company chase after them instead.

Sounds like scam to me. This company charges the whole modem and fees for 1 year upfront to your credit card so they could get the money in advance and thereafter it's between you and the bank.

Get smart. Complain to your bank and tell them that this company is a cheat.Persuade them to cancel the payment made to the company or refund for the bad service.

lol. its not like i dont know what to do. It just that my situation doesnt do me any good.

For your info, imma foreigner. I payed cash and not through credit when i subscribed.

Ive used their service, the first 5-6 month was good, but then my area starts fiilling with users and it got congested. Complaining to them doesnt bring any good either.

Lucky me i have less than two month subscription left. Imma change to something else after that

I missed my Izzi already... lol

Because I am currently at penang, so, i am forced to use screamyx. Compared to Izzi, screamyx really sucks. Cannot load many web sites. If there is no TUPD rule, Izzi wins hands down.
*
try change the DNS cause sometimes the screamyx dns just go nuts.

this easy thread using 3G/3.5G connection looo.

Dont say something that you dont know.

iZZi is based on iBurst technology. Not 3G/3.5G

is this normal?
during torrenting can only get between 20-30kB/s cry.gif
*
The speed that you should get at least 600-700kbps.
Not 200kbps ++

When its izzi isnt capped, torrent should be able to reach max speed for 1mbps line.

do u had experience max speed for torrent?
mind to share the speed?
Today is my 5th day using iZZi..
need to replace with new wireless BB is cancel iZZi..any suggestion?
*
You can check previous posts in this thread.

When i first subscribed iZZi, the speed was awesome. Was.
I get 1mbps speed as they promised. Torrent could reach 120kB/s when there's good seeders.

But since 5 month ago, iZZi got worse. Now my average speed is 400-500kbps not 1mbps. They even introduced Fair Usage Policy which allow you to use only 750mb bandwidth per day from 6am-2am.

The worse part is even with the FUP applied in daytime, the speed is still shitty. Whats the point they implement FUP then? At least put more towers :s

I suggest you replace your iZZi if you get shitty speed, cause i can assure you it wont get better soon.

Better get wired broadband than wireless cause most of em have fair usage policy except AMAX Wimax. Check whether your area is covered by AMAX.

lol.

You can manually change the DNS setting via router.

Changing the DNS wont help you with the 750mb daily bandwidth. Once you hit it, your speed will be capped to 128 kbps.

iZZi DNS is based on Open DNS if im not mistaken.

Currently im using Verizon DNS.

Glad to hear that.

It seems that i can hardly connect to all international servers. Local surfing still fine.

And here i thought i can enjoy the unthrottled hour 2am-6am.

Really really disappointing.
