Hi, I'm new to the finance sector. Does anyone know where is a good place that provide good seminars on financial planning, investment, fundamental and technical analysis. A friend recommended me to have a look at Securities Commission's course. Any recommendations? Thanks

CIMB and OSK do have free seminars about stock/futures investment sometimes. You can visit their webbies or call them up for information. As for technical analysis, chartnexus.com provides free/paid seminars quite regularly. Check the event page in their website for updates.

There plenty of investment seminar out there. Just depend on you whether you want free or pay one.
For beginning, better read investment books first (ebooks). To get familiar with investment fundamental first before attending investment seminar.

Currently, chartnexus is organising technical analysis seminar. Only RM100 per module. There is total of 6 module altogether. For RHBInvest user, only pay for RM500 for all module (complete module)

(Note: not for promotion purpose, just i think it is good for beginner. Better than pay tuition fees during trading).

Thanks, I'll have a look at chartnexus for techinical. I wouldn't mind getting it free or paying, just as long as its good information and not time wasters. No one here done any SC's courses?
