Im using it as well, and i think i got the last one or something from play-asia, a friend of mine ordered a bit later the same day and there was no stock already. Its pretty decent but dont expect it to be a mouse+keyboard replacement, it feels a bit cheap though.

Anyone care to share your sensitivity settings for COD4 and R6V2 on the fragfx? I still trying to figure out the best sensitivity setting...

Here's an update that i've found out

If u want to update the firmware due to any reason, it does not compatible with nvidia chipset mainboard.
(I use nvidia chipset on all of my pc, home desktop ,laptop and shop PC too.... )

I try to flash them on intel mainboard..wala...it's work

I haven try it on other chipset..

So if u having problem to flash ur firmware,try to flash them on other PC.

How about Asus s478 motherboard? I wonder if it works on that...

For COD4 i set the in game sensitivity to 9 (insane level or something) and 2-3 on the fragfx itself.

OK... finally got my hands on it.

My impression ( i say impression because i spend a minimal amount of time with it only )

FEEL :-

It feels cheap. I feel i could break in anytime. It's light, and everything's made of plastic.

Button layouts, while it's all there... it's a bit awkwardly placed. From the analog stick to the D-Pad, it's quite an uncomfortable reach. Same goes to the "action buttons" on the mouse. A lot of times, i wanted to jump, but instead, i switched weapon.

Some may argue that it takes time to get used to. I agree though.

PERFORMANCE :-

Yeah, definately my aiming in games like COD4 and RSV2 improved by 100 times. Well not exactly 100 times, because i'm good at the DS3. HEHE !! But definately improved.

But i still feel the sensitivity is inconsistent. Occasionally, things move very fast, but sometimes, it slows to a hog.

And dont expect it to perform like a RM100 mouse, because it's not. It feels pretty much like my RM20 Logitech mouse, which is no problem for me, because i never used a gaming mouse ever in my life.


VALUE :-

Expensive. That sums it all.

If you have a huge library of FPS, and you kinda miss playing with the mouse, you might want to get this instead. It definately helps improve aiming, but with a built quality like that, it should have been cheaper.

Bro.. i thought i mentioned that. lol.

It definately does feel like a mouse aiming, but dont expect the precision of a gaming mouse.

But I never used a gaming mouse ever in my life, just a standard optical mouse, so i'm not missing much to be honest.


It feels better than DS3 though especially for FPS games.

Some games are just better off with the DS3. Like Uncharted, GTA4 etc etc...

I increased my kill ratio after using frag fx. LOL..

But sometimes I just revert back to DS3. Its still the best controller for COD4 on PS3.

never used it before...but sure looks very cool

if it is still same as original version, i'd advise against buying it.

i tested my friend's around a year ago and for me, the mouse is small and hard to use it properly, and yes, my hands are quite small. and it is hard to hold the left part with just one hand.

i suggest you to test-drive first from any game shop / friends before buying. who knows if it is suitable for you.
but for me, i wont get it.

ahhh my fren from the us saw the frag fx v1 but v2 is not out yet. Dunno if i shud get the v1.... The launch for v2 shud be around the corner.

I read reviews on the net on the v1 and some said they're having minor problems with the mouse's accuracy. Better wait for the v2 if you plan on getting one.

I guess the only place to get it is Play-Asia.

There's a new mouse+nunchuk (wireless) announced for the PS3 a few days ago. It's called mLani PS3/PC Hybrid Controller. Worth checking out.

I think fragFX looks amazing. Might get it if I get the extra cash at hand. I would think it's going to cost around RM200+ right?

V1 costs $59.90. V2 (wireless if not mistaken) is expected to be $79.90. So yeah, around RM200+.

it's nothing compare to pc mouse (copperhead or G9) but if ur a pc gamers
it helps a lot in fps games..been using it in resistance2 and killzone2 (after patch feel much smoother)
don put very high hope for it...it helps me a lot in my aiming.

Nope.. it's not as smooth as a gaming mouse.. heck, it's not even as smooth as the cheapo logitech bj69 optical mouse...





Not sure about the "much improved" version though...

Still, i enjoy using the joypad more now....

Besides, i got a gaming pc... so... I'm all good.

few tips
don use the ori mouse pad (that given with fragfx)
use better mouse pad
for me i use razer mouse pad..don crank the sensitivity to high
put it between 2 to 4 ...work best for me

and also i did a few mod on the fragfx itself..especially on the button.

Well the V2 of the FragFX is very much the same as V1 ,they did not change much .They only change the R1,R2 and R3 button
.V1 was glossy look and it kinda slippery if u have sweatty palm...
V2 make a bit improve on it as they make the button matte black

Ok for the in game (try on Killzone,Red Faction Demo and Uncharted )
if u did read from the site about the product and the different between V1 and V2 ,in term of it's sensitivity issue,
well all i can say is v2 do feel different from v1.I mean the sensitivity did improve but not much,I can say around 40%
of improvement.
And the button (most important R1 and R2) now it feel right .one press and the gun shoot ,where else for v1 you need to press them real hard
(That why I mod them out ,so the normal press will work flawlessly)
I think they improve on the circuit board

I have a question, if we buy from Play-Asia, will it kena tax ? never buy anything from play-asia before...

Try to keep your purchase below RM500 and God willing you won't get taxed. Coz Play-Asia will state the amount of the goods on the box.

The RM500 is just a rule of thumb we use to purchase overseas and avoid custom taxation.

Actually i m just bought 1 from there, ask they send 1 to me which their sales thread write is FragFX V2, but when i receive it i found this is not V2, is older version, i ask the seller why, the reason they give is bcoz the supplier there said this is V2 so they write it as V2 on their sales thread, what a stupid reason.
