RETURN OF DEPOSIT AMOUNTING TO RM XX (“DEPOSIT”) PURSUANT TO A TERMINATION OF THE TENANCY AGREEMENT DATED [XX/YY/ZZ] (“TENANCY AGREEMENT”)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to the above matter, to the watapp msg dated [xx/yy/zz] and to the tele-conversation exchange between you and myself on [xx/yy/zz].

As you are well aware, my tenancy has expired on [dd/mm/yy] and I have observed clause [xx] of the Tenancy Agreement. There being no breach of the Tenancy Agreement, you are obliged under the aforementioned provision to refund back to me my Deposit.

It has been [x] months from the date of termination of my Tenancy and yet I have not received my Deposit despite numerous Whatapp message and telephone conversations in which you have promised to refund me my Deposit. In our most recent telephone conversation, you have the audacity to refuse the refund to me my Deposit and requested me to search for a tenant and recover my deposit from the prospective tenant.

I insist that you refund me my deposit and you shall do so within 14 days from the date of this letter without any further delays or excuses to the following account:-

If you fail to do so within the stipulated time frame, I will proceed to escalate the matter without any further reference to you.
