Since Gamefaqs reject my cheat as "not a cheat", I'll post them here instead.

Burnout aka Stationary Mini-boost

To execute this move, you must be stationary(not moving). Hit the drift(or Brake) button and accelerate at the same time and you'll start performing a burnout. Wait a second or two, a blue spark will emerge, let go drift/brake button and off you go!

This is especially useful when you're stuck off-track, hit a wall, completely went U-turn, blue shell, and etc. etc. I'm guessing this works very well with heavy class/fast karts/bikes with low acceleration as the boost pick-up will greatly help it's low acceleration status.

Also, while performing a burnout, you can also turn into any direction you want to. This is similar to pressing Brakes + Accelerate in other Mario Kart games, only this time, you'll get a blue spark if you wait awhile.

So.. Penman gonna start karting today.. and he's prolly gonna need some Blue Shell welcoming ceremony.

You can get your code in-game through your license(game profile). But I think you may need to connect to WFC once first.
