Hardware Help My Ibook G4, Battery Problem

hello.....i am using the ibook G4 12"...
i wan to ask about the battery problem.....
my ibook cant open when the adapter is unplug although the battery has fully charged....
can anyone giv me some suggest or way to solve this problem.what is going on? is my battery broken or my ibook problem?
if i get to repair how much will cost because i am new to apple and this ibook is bought by my sister from Taiwan..
So is it still hav international warranty fr my ibook?

iBook G4? I doubt you still have the warranty. Most probably the battery has died given the laptop model you stated. You can always buy a new battery, costing about RM500 maybe? Wasn't very sure. Check with VR Tech lah.

ur ibook age how long?
mine battery dead too..if buy new battery cost some bomb
so i refill means change inside cells

you can check at the garage sales under notebook
altfield i think..he change it for me..cost around 167..forgot de

Hi, how well does your replaced cells doing? How long you've been using it since replaced?
As I aware most replaced cells doesn't last over 6months. It start to degrade drastically over 3months of usage. Within a year it fall over less than an hour. Might be the supplier I heard are using cheap cells. So do share your experience.

For the thread starter, try to loan a working iBook battery and test. If you get the same result, most likely you have blown fuse in the motherboard.

been using it around for about 2 months now

sometimes charge will go only 99% but after a while will go to 100% again..yeah its a repacked battery pack for a cheap price

where can get it? my friend doesnt use apple too?
is that the mean u wan to say, find a ibook same series n use it battery on my ibook
