I just downloaded the HD trailer that show the gameplay. I have to say, the game is very dynamic. You can use the axe to chop up a table and take the pieces. You can take a chair, go near fire and it will light up.

The rendering is very good too... especially the dude's clothes and fire and stuff

can't wait for the monster screenshot and art work !

Nice graphics, but the stiff animation and the stupid music really turn me down. The monster design... not scary at all.

hi all newbie to this, any idea if this is going to be launch for asia console? I checked in PA only show US release date....

Most of the games are NTSC/j or Asian version . Only Capcom's games are NTSC , US only , but they are region free So .. no worries pal

In this sequel, they finally reveal Edward Carnby to be a vampire.

That's the only explanation on how he's been solving paranormal cases since 1925 and still look so good.

Waaa this game totally makes me melt...can`t wait for it ler...even my sister also said when it release dont forget to get 1 copy for her, cause she also 360 gamers...Alone in the dark fanatic ( my sis )..she love this kindda games.

I really hope so. This LE is the European market so chances for us to get it is high. My LE GTAIV is Europe version, Assassin's Creed LE with figure is Europe version. Hmm... Im starting to get addicted to LE version.... MGS 4 LE version is SWEEEET MAN!!! hehehehe already pre-ordered mine.

I woudnt be surprise if this game dont live up to its hype. Well, thats what happen now days with so much hyped games. EXCEPT FOR MGS 4. But from my point of view and experience looking at the game play, i felt it was a bit stiff and awkward with so many button confusing, i believe. The game dynamic tech is good but i guess thats what happen, the developer trying so hard to polish the graphic, dynamic game play thing not forgetting making the game as realistic as possible, they forgot about the controller layout. Such a pity if they end up in rent list....

Not entirely , Halo 3 was good , DMC4 was awesome , GTA4 was good , NG2 was good , COD4 was good ... so .... its not only your MGS4 .

As for the latest series of Alone in the Dark , it does seems like the receptions are pretty poor . Too bad then .. the premises are so promising though .

Yup indeed they are all good bro. But the feeling of after hype among all the game i cant explained when comparing with MGS4. Hmmmm... how to say ah .. dunno lah hahahahaha.

Erm erm... correction yes.. NG2 IMO is so mediocre game compare to its hype (and the launching party in singapore hahaha) it really lack of depth. You feel flat when playing the game. I mean, yeah the graphic is good but its really out dated if you know what i mean. ONe big happy smooth walking polygon.. thats it.

Alamak before off topic better stop hehehe. But back to AITD im just gonna wait till the official review comes out. For your information, ATARI is threatening game sites with their.. i say rather honest reviews hahahaha

Ya..really hard to explain why Mr.Snake choose barrel for hidding, i though only kids do that. Just kidding.

Its out? Well, apparently the control system just plain sucks.

Woa 3.5/10 is sure bad enough... but i'll get it anyway... coz reviews are wrong most of the time but altho it is not deemed to be suck-big-time, but it surely can not be categorized as good

if 3.5/10...better get Kung-Fu Panda game...hhehehhe...at least 7.4/10

I've spent 2 hours with the this game.

Control & Camera system is the biggest let down. Guess developer must be using some ancient out dated game development software to make it

Graphics & Soundtrack are breathtaking. Gameplay & puzzles are awesome. The drama sequence is very cinematic

All in all, if you are willing to put in effort to learn & get use to the awkward control & camera system, this will be a great epic game for survival horror genre. Myself is really excited to complete this game to watch the story unfold

ok well...i give it a try la...next week wanna angkut...

Finally i get to have a try at this game.
And i just played for the first 10 minutes and all i can say is the graphics is fantastic and the story just adds to the excitement.

However, the game is too buggy and despite having such nice graphics, there can be texture misappropriation (not sure if this is the correct term, IT noob). You know when a surface is flat and spikes of graphics just spawn out of it, this is what happens in the game.
Sometimes this just throws the whole mood away.

Then there is the game interaction.
The controls were pretty alright for myself, just that the game is trying to put too much into giving players a good experience of the game.
There is 2 view inside the game which is a first person view and a third person view, so it is actually pretty cool to have a good look at things on the first person and the 3rd person on the surrounding.
However sometimes the controls arent responsive.
Let's just say you are to climb a rope and climb through a broken piece. However, while you are climbing up the rope, you accidentally fell down and you will not be able to climb the rope again no matter how many millions time you press the action button.

This game has a good storyline and it really has most of what players would want, but sometimes satisfying all of it will just make the game worst.

Truth to be told, yes overall this game sucks, big time. But i think it deserves at least a 6/10. Oh by the way, i just played 10 minutes into the game, dont own it and doesnt intend to.

Owh man .. this game is so suck ATARI wished it wasn't so HYPED UP ALREADY!!!!!!

The game is a bit slow when it comes to movement of the character and the camera angle is no good when u are playing the games.
One word, too slow response if you want to compare to other survival horror.Sometimes the puzzle is hard to understand as well. No clear indication on what we are going to do next.
Quite disappointed lor.

i think this game wont have 2nd value to sell at pasar malam 360 or garage sale......

Admitedly I am only on the 4th episode of the game, but so far I've had no problems either with the controls, or with game stability. Sure Carnby isn't the fastest game hero out there, but then again he isn't meant to be Solid Snake or Ryu Hayabusa. The storyline is decent, the combat workable (alot better than that found in similar survival horrors like RE and Silent Hill) and the puzzles are fun and logical. It may not be the best game around but definitely worth checking out. It's a lot less buggy than Ninja Gaiden 2 is anyway.

What I remembered from the past few games of AITD was the movements are slow since the 1st game was released until the 4th coz I've played it all.... The onli thing that keeps me playing the game is the storyline.... The features for the 5th installment is actually not that bad... But I do have to admit that the camera angles are a bit awkward and the controls are a bit irresponsive but overall it is a nice game..... Bugs do pop up in every game.... I've never seen a perfect, non-buggy game b4.....

If u guys wan my rating, I'll give this version an 8/10.... -1 for controls and -1 for camera angles..... Btw, Gametrailers gave this game a 7.3/10, which proves that it is pretty decent and worth checking out.... Also a friendly reminder, the 5th installment is meant to be played on consoles.....

Hmmm...sounds like the game doesn't live up to the hype. However, since I'm a big AITD fan, I'll probably get it anyway How much is the game selling for btw? Anyone want to sell their used copy?

rm160 brand new games...so far i didnt see anyone sell it for 2nd hand...either they keep it as collection or they dont buy it cause the rating so sux..

I can't even continue play this piece of crab for an hour... The control is so crappy that it gets on my nerve... The story might be interesting, the graphics are ok, but the control beats all. Initially i wanted to finished it for the game score, but it seems like it's too much for me, i'll just put it inside my freezer...
