 will i get taxed?, if i buy xbox360 in us n bring back?

my fren going to us, tot of asking him to buy xbox360 there at 349.99 usd, at current exchange rate of 1usd = 3.22 rm, the price would be only rm 1135

will i get taxed from the customs here in malaysia?

shipped from us or he'll bring back with him ? i think if bring back by him wont kena tax. It's very2 rare to be checked by the customs nowadays at klia

but better buy asian version console. games are cheaper and easier to get here in malaysia

i remember reading the fine print in the customs declaration form (or 'landing form' as they call it): you are allowed to bring in 1 set of electronic goods tax free for personal use, amongt other things like perfume/cigarettes/liquor.

hm, I think you can put everything into the "luggage" including the box should not be a problem.

but if cannot fit, might as well take the console only.

but the truth is.. like everybody said, getting U/S games is hard.

but if online is not a problem then should be no problem.

video games or console not allowed to bring in to malaysia.....

yea worst part is when u kena 3rod u cant go to singapore to get a claim for that box of yours
u have to fly all the way where u got it from :|

why save when u haev risk for

1. hardware failure
2. region lock
