Ok this is more of a proof of concept program right now, you can check categories and then the price for each product in the category.

How to install?
1. Download attachment :  ilowyat.zip ( 149.94k ) Number of downloads: 65

2. Unzip, SSH to iphone /Applications
3. Drag folder ilowyat.app into the /Applications folder
4. Make sure folder ilowyat.app and the rest of the files inside is chmodded into 755
5. READY TO ROCK!!

SSH Tips :
1. If you are on Windows, use WinSCP (http://winscp.net/), make sure SSH is switched on on your Iphone (if you don't have SSH, install OpenSSH in utilities in Installer.app). username : root , password : alpine
2. To check for your iphone's IP Address, tap settings > Wireless > tap the arrow next to your connected router > check ip address.
3. If you are on a Mac, use Terminal, just type in "ssh root@IPADDRESS" without the quotes. Accept any authentication requests that pop up. Type in "root" as username and "alpine" as the password when prompted.


planned updates :
- Add shop names and places to get the product
- Allow online updating of pricelist
- Link to google maps to display location of the shop and pinned address
- Add hyperlink to store website
- Trading zone??

To do that you right click the ilowyat.app folder , choose properties, type in permissions 0755 (i use winscp so maybe different for you), then check the box that says set group, owner and permissions recursively.

I guess it should work as iPod Touch & iPhone both are almost similar.

i am not sure if it works on ipod touch, need someone to confirm that.
it's programmed using objC language and compiled using a hacked up toolchain.

i nid to know if people are interested in local apps, if you guys want this app up on installer.app i can request for it to be packaged into the community sources.

it is platform independant, use a ssh client to upload it onto your phone, for mac i think you can use terminal to send it to your phone, not sure how tho.

A "Back" button would be nice,
after we go inside ram and check its price,
