I was wondering how long does it takes for their items to reach our shores? 5 to 10 days? My first purchase item been shipped on 11 February but until now I haven't received it. Any difference between free and paid postal delivery beside the tracking info?

Hmm it took 5 days for my order for 3 copies of COD4 to arrive ..I was in Terengganu at the time, and the mail there is reli reli slow to arrive usually..5 days was a pleasant surprise since I was expecting 14 days

i ordered ETQW last year. took almost 3 weeks to arrived. then i ordered cod4 arrived around 5 days, all using std package. before place order see wether the item is in stock or not.if in stock should be max 10 days.

*Sigh* Its already more than 5 days. I guess i gotta wait for the 10 days period

Only six days and you are complaining? I'm from East Malaysia, average 14 days for each shipment (I have purchased from PA for more than 30 times, 20+ times are using free shipping). 10 days in consider fast already.

So my experience, 6 days is fastest (only 1 time ) and the rest are between 10 to 16 days. Occasionally I may go to post office directly to check my item and get it from them directly.

I ordered using fedex. arrived in like 3 days. i live in kl. its RM45 extra though. but worth every sen...

Most of my packages take a week or just over. There's some exceptions tho, but those packages are usually slow because of customs.

i don't mind if its slow.. play-asia is reliable.
they always feedback to me within 24 hours.. very satisfied answer given.

the delivery date depends on POS MALAYSIA if you are using free delivery service... They are the cause of all these slowness.

If you wan faster and more reliable delivery method use fedex.. they are more efficient and deliver it on time...

I guess so. I got my package today (Monday 18th). Guess what. The package itself has the stamp of "Diluluskan oleh Kastam 15-02-08"

my package was delayed within chinese new year : i ordered my silent hill origins before CNY , and get the package on yesterday, and it comes together with my parcel ordered last week, strange.

Bro Hezda, I am from East Malaysia too, in Kuching to be exact. I am quite surprise when you said that it took 10-16 days to reach East Malaysia.My problem is the item has been shipped out on 20 Feb but till now I have not received it.I ordered MGS4 and GT5.
Can you please advice how to check the item at post office i.e do you have to provide any ref number since free delivery using standard air mail I doubt there will be any ref number or just tell them it was bought from Play-Asia.TQ.

Nothing you can do. Wait for 6 weeks and inform PA your parcel is lost and local post office cannot track anything for you.

I bought boogie superstar last january, but intruct them to post to Manila Philippines. Took 12 days to reach. Phillipines is nearer to Hong Kong, but it doesn't mean faster. The bottleneck is usually customs. Sometimes they are fast to clear, sometimes they are slow. So, u can't really perdict.

I have been pretty lucky so far. Stuffs I order for myself will usually reach me within 2 weeks.

mine all reach between 1-2 weeks
if more than that most likely is either:
1. kena detain for tax
2. Item lost

I want to ask, if uses free mail, the post man will deliver to person in house or mail box?

No way, mail box only la.

if the package is big and I live in flat house then how ah? will the postman come up to my doorstep?

They might ask you to collect it from the PO if necessary

the postmen will usually just throw my package and letters into my house.

my order was shipped on 23rd March, and received it yesterday 30th March

that was the fastest record PA delivered my items to me, I expect 2 or even 3 weeks delivery time since I bought my item during the PA sales

Small items like games I'll ask PA to post to me house address.
If I'm ordering a bigger items, I'll put my company address to post to, then I've no worries about the postman mishandling my items

No kidding, a game site with such limited games is terrible even if can deliver within 3 mins

recently ordered and received 4 games from play asia.. all within 7-8 days.

problem is they delivered wrong region (ps3) game to me. 3 out of 4 games wrong region! i complaint to them, they ask me to return it (they pay postage). but i too lazy to do that... so they gave me USD5 coupon (only)..

My last order:

Shipped from PA - 1st April
Customs received - 4th April
Arrived at house - 14th April

10 days @ customs? o_O

You should check the Kastam release date, it's usually Pos Malaysia that makes it so long to be delivered

then dont PA never fail me yet average 14 days wait more than 2 weeks consider checking with pos malaysia ask them to delivery it happen to me before my items from korea was due for 1 month called pos they said the items is still in LCCT, then i just go pick it up myself rather waiting for another 1 weeks for them to deliver

I have done alot of orders from Play-asia before.

This is my experience:-

1. For items which I dont require in a rush, it took about 2 weeks though I have received my orders early within 4 days.
Take note of festive holidays like CNY/Hari Raya, delivery took a longer time.

2. For items which I want ASAP, I have used UPS/Fed-Ex. Took between 2-3 days to arrive.
Do note, it takes longer clearance over the weekends.

from my experience, Kastam is always the one that delayed.

The fastest I had with PA was "order today at 10am, get tomorrow in the evening" provided the package clears custom. This was using Fedex.

I have two items waiting to prep order (Red Steel 2 Wii and Warioware D.I.Y NDS) before it ships. I reckon the experience to be the same once my order is fulfilled. Again, with the said proviso.

oh man, order mine on 13 may, shipped on 15 may, today 24 may still havent get =(

if its shipped on a Friday or Saturday, using standard shipping it will only leave Hong Kong on Monday...(17th may) so its onli 5 working days....

From my exp.. our postage service is the one make the delay.
My last order was FF13 guide book and it took about 1month to arrive. Cannot bear with the delay, i purposely went to post office and check every parcel that has play asia label on it and finally found my parcel. If i didnt check it, it will even delay further.
My advise is get the paid postage about RM50. 2/3 days kau tim reach ur house.

How to know if the parcel is sort of detained by custom or not??? Been waiting for my game... But it's only been 5 working days...

I got mine after 10 working days. If you're package is held by customs, they would call you or send you a notice.

They'll call/notify you if they think your parcel is taxable, otherwise you wouldn't know how long it would take. My record was 4 months, way after I claim refund from PA.

Wah 4 months long... God bless god bless... Custom don't bother such petty stuff... Pray pray... And the 45% is really no good... Aiy... Sad... Gaming life is a struggle

Guys I need some help. Pls guide me.

I've ordered a game from Play-Asia & I used the economical shipment. Its been almost 6 weeks & I've yet to receive my parcel. So how to check the kastam release date? I've called Pos Malaysia & they can't track my parcel without any tracking number. (The package is suppose to sent to my kampung instead of my current location.)

Contact PA after 6 weeks (they won't entertain you even a day less) and provide your shipping address. If your stuff still haven't arrived after 3 weeks then file a refund from PA.

Thx. contacted them but then how to check the kastam release date. Coz I got a bad feeling that my game is held by the kastam.

usually post office will do the clearance, i regularly import some stuff from korea but most of the time using ems (registered post) post office usually send you a letter to you home if the packages got held by custom.

PA never fail me yet ordered something today morning fedex already picked up and it on the way ETA tomorrow morning weee

Damn, play asia can't locate my parcel & opted me for a refund. So what kind of refund will they provide? Full refund including item + shipment or just the item itself?

I have two orders using free-shipping. First order shipped out on 4-Mar, got it on 11-Mar; second order shipped out on 11-Mar, got it today (18-Mar)!!
