about the 02 core that is defective is all not correct....the tri core is the defective one core of the quad core....
why it is not OC able?

the TLB error is not for OC ability or anything to do with OC....
its only effect to high end user like when the proc running as a server and there to much data load...so the TLB error make it not to stabel coz it act as a server.for a normal home user wont feel the thing.....

The highest phenom G2 can go is 3.0ghz....u can try google around and see....some of this proc is a gem like the F2 before...some of them can even OC better then other F2....

sure hope that AMD will make some killer proc....
coz the dark side get stronger when their 1st copy of 64bit architecture from AMD....

So AMD need to make something up to make them on the top again just like in Athlon XP days....

As what i know, TLB errata is microcode error at part of the L3 cache
The TLB patch is just a temporarily solution, it covers the error parts and that's why it cause performance decrement. ( Part of the L3 cache removed from user usage)
AMD promise to fix the TLB errata by reprogram the microcode.
That is why B3 stepping is known as TLB errata free  smile.gif

the OC capabilities is not great coz Phenom originally design for a server usage....

but AMD kinda forgetting the Overclocker that back their product with a good bench result that can kick some Intel ass just like what happen at AthlonXP era with Pentium4....

AMD still wins at the earlier of the 64bit era....
just when their name increasing...they forget about the overclocker that stay with them....
once Intel came out with their dual core, AMD already fall back really far...

still remember when the only dual core out there is 3800+??
the price reach RM1k....

once intel out with C2D....u can see the price drop to RM500++....

they should make some proc that can kill the Intel benchies....and take back all the previous AMD fan...

im still with amd coz it is really fun & thrilling to OC the gems...

highest kinda stable 2.7ghz....
and not stable at 2.8ghz....

but the sure thing stable is at 2.6ghz....
