3650 How much one the CHEAPEST?

To me 780G mobo would be a good choice to hybrid CF with 3800 series
Though it won't boost performance much (due to the performance gap between high end card and low end card is too wide) ,
but this combination will be good energy saver
whenever you don't need massive 3D graphic processing,
it will switch to integrated gc automatically ( which the power consumption is much much lower in this mode)
also, 780G chipset is manufactured with 55nm technology.
the idle power consumption for both south bridge and north bridge is less than 1 watt each.

Woah quite interesting.But isnt HD38xxx version cannot Hybrid CF with the AMD 780 Chipset?

yup. For normal gaming should b enough lar... + the onboard if i not mistaken can oc 1 leh... (that 1 i read is for Gigabyte 780G)...Not to sure bout Biostar's...

hybrid crossfire only can be supported by 3400 series
it's claimed by HKEPC that although hybrid graphic technology won't give performance boost to mid/high end gc, but the energy saver feature can be used on them , it's known as powerXpress technology
