1MB L2 cache really awesome thumbup.gif
even if i use full tweak on my X23800+ also cannot get that result at the same clockspeed notworthy.gif

i'm not the person that can wait for better result laugh.gif
this is the breaking zone session :22.953s wub.gif

FYI, my daily oced system at the 1.6V in bios which have the team with 2.15V 5-5-5-5-11-2T
just doing the increment in HTT and the result pop-up as above icon_rolleyes.gif
no vcore added from daily rig (293 x 12) to the SPI test (296 x 12)
just the Vdimm~~~~~~~~~~ :cheer:

congrats thumbup.gif
nice results you got there

wah dblooi is bringing some more good stuff...
the cooler looks like xigmatek laa...
*
xigmatek?
basically we can expect cooling performance better than S1283 , price cheaper than S963 laugh.gif
That's all about this cooler from me , in this thread
anything discuss tru pm icon_rolleyes.gif

previously i had 5-5-5-5-x but sked too tight timings will kill my ram. got such thing? lol

tRC can set to 11, no problem for D9GMH smile.gif

from i start learn oc till now, i couldnt figure out how to change my multiplier from the default 9.5 doh.gif

btw, why would i want to run lower speed?

maybe u can wait for the pros to answer u about mal, i also simply tweak only until can work. doh.gif

Just some of my experiences sharing.
When you're stuck at ram oc on D9GMH,
Don't think of loosing the timings only,
Try to tight the timings if loosing the timings fails you
D9GMH has unique characteristic, it loves to be tighten.
(eg. MAL changes to 6ns instead of using 10ns, 10ns is too loose for D9GMH actually )
Also, make sure the ram is as cool as possible.
I have this experience, i can use my ram at 1266MHz 5-5-4-3-2T when it's fresh and cool,
but once it's getting hot , i need to change my tRFC value to 127.5NS in order to work stably.

oh, never knew about that coz my normal thinking would be if tight kenot, then lagi tight sure kenot doh.gif lol

maybe my trfc i need to change to 127.5 also, coz now at 105 i feel the ram is not cool at all. any side effects if i change to 195 or 3xx?
*
trfc sticks to 75NS always for D9GMH smile.gif
try to active cool the ram when performing ram oc icon_rolleyes.gif

actually my OC i always target 24/7 usage one. dun have any form of active cooling here. just have some cheap heatspreaders only.

(btw, are the heatspreaders for absorbing the heat or what?)

will try tightening the mal and trfc now. =D
*
remember this,
ram killer = overheat , overvoltage , tight timings + high frequency
my advise is try to get a ram cooler if u plan to oc for 24/7 usage.
Most of the heatspreaders don't work well actually ,
even it is working well, at the end you need active cooling as well.

icic, will look into active cooling then

my mal value i changed to 6 in the bios and can post, but once i changed trfc to 75 from 105 then cant post. lowered MAL to 5 then can already.

but according to memset here, my mal value is 8, but i set it as 5 in the bios.

which one is correct? or did the bios auto adjust for me or something?

[attachmentid=417599]

the memset one is correct.
i guess it is bios bug, the MAL setting is not working eventhough you already set it smile.gif
Try to flash bios if u willing to set it in bios ( but i'm not sure whether they fix it in later bios or not)
oh ya, don't use MAL 6ns for long term, i got bad feeling if u do so sweat.gif
IMHO, the MAL just leave it as auto should be fine.
TA690G's bios is D9GMH-friendly laugh.gif
