This happened to us last weekend. 3:15 am in the morning heading down to melbourne via hume highway. Bro in law driving, negotiating a gradual bend, when a kangaroo popped out of nowhere. Bumped it and then swerved to avoid it. Car lost control, spun, hit gutter, tipped, flipped and then landed on the grass approx 30m from the road. At time of collision, i think we were doing 115 km/h +-

We were very fortunate to walk out of that without a single injury or trauma. Car's a write off. Is a 06 Corolla(altis) if anyone's wondering. Roof caved in the middle, driver side A pillar bent slightly and pretty much every panel on the driver side is dented.

Front of car. No, airbags did not deploy as we did not hit the kangaroo hard enough. Just nudged it. Thats why the front is still intact. Bonnet was flat but.
