First i was choosing cds to play.. then sudden ly BOOM mr.RrOd came.. i switch off the power source immeadiatley n then.. did the xclamp replacement.. i doit instantly didnt think of anything else.. and then when i finish trying to switch on the 360.. the 360 wont switch on... no lights... the power supply luights turn from orange to RED... is this normal do i have to wait for the 360 to cooldown for 4 hours!!!???... i did the xclamp replacement for about 45 minutes..

power brick red light ?? Supposed to be orange in stanby, green ok, red dead..but if got 3rod, the power supply should be orange not red..try using other power brick
|

listen when i plug in the power its orange but when i turn it on it turns red

Added on February 16, 2008, 8:16 pmi advice u guys.. all buy power stabelizer or wat ever u call em... starting from now on... no more 360 scene.....

Added on February 16, 2008, 8:23 pmok i just tried switching it on again.. the fan tried to move but then its like suddenly black out.. no power.. and the psu led turn red

your Power Supply is Dead
You have no choice but to buy a new one.
or.. a third party.
or.. find some technician to help you repair the power brick

listen~ listen what our bro. djinn said. djinn, i dont think it can be repair. i tried ady inside the powerbrick is full of thermal paste. there is 2 layer u need to be open. or another 3rd party.... use pc powersupply mod it. This post has been edited by tailgunner: Feb 16 2008, 10:30 PM
