Just read through this thread. A real interesting read. I am looking to upgrade to a new amp and it looks like this Yamaha is the one that will fit my needs. My current setup is a Yamaha RXV 1500 powering my Wharfedale Diamond 9.6 for front, Diamond 9.1 for rear and Diamond 9 CS for center. My question is whether the Yamaha RXV663 is powerful enough to power my speakers as my 9.6 is rated from 50 - 200 watts.

Need help. If price is not an issue, which should I get? Yamaha 3800 or Onkyo 805?

Only comparing those 2 models cause I can get it about the same price. Can someone help me out here
