I got this from manual. Can someone help to explain...
Dynamic Power (IHF) Front L/R, 8/6/4/2 ohm........................135/165/195/240W
Does it mean the amp need less power to drive 8 ohm speakers or the amp can give more power if it driving other speakers lower than 8 ohm.
Can I mix speakers with different ohm? Say I use 8 ohm for front L/R and 6 ohms for others?
Will 8 ohm speakers sounded better than 6/4/2 ohm?
Btw, yammy amp got two setting for speakers impedance either 8 or 6 ohm only, applicable to all channels. I can't find any ohm setting for individual channels (I don't think there is).

More power means more work for the amp. So far have not really tested how much the ohm actually effects the sound..... ht and hi-fi usually uses 8 or 6 ohm speaker. Car audio uses 4 most of the time but can go down to 2 or 1 for subwoofers.

QUOTE(sunauto @ May 26 2008, 12:17 AM) Any pointers to identify a fake Monster Cable? Monster is a good cable but overprice. Check the retail price and also image on monster website and do comparison. Also don't buy anything claimed "New" but without boxes. I did ask a few seller in China Ebay (Hong Kong) and they said the price is cheap because its "OEM". Beat me whether its true or not but I always play safe and avoid buying such cable. Plus there are a lot more good cables out there and better and cheaper than monster. So its your call and judge wisely

I am sort of cheapskate guy Used to buy my cables from Spore since it is cheaper there. Here, I would opt for used cables. Better value for my hard earned money
