Taikor, I am still holding on. Wait til 863 is here. Still undecided. Maybe 863, if it's good or 1800 or 805 (if got extra moolah). If not, 705.
Denon is too expensive to be considered. |

frankly, since PS3 will be able to decode the DTS-MA from fw 2.30, u will need only V661 to do the job satisfactory. the different between the 661 & 663 is only this audio codec thing...nothing much.
or get the V861 if u need upscaler like I do for the Astro but the result not very noticeable, only smoother and less jagger on my TV but the improvement is less than 5% for my eyes lar.... however, major diff for 863 vs 663 will the abality to upconvert everything to HDMI for 863 while 663 only to component nia...so, no single cable connection for 663.... |
