1st time user here. Thank you for some of the great info on this forum.

My old HK receiver went kaput and have been searching high & low for a replacement, considering Onkyo 606, Denon 1909, Marantz 5003 & Yamaha 663/863. Yamaha's price seems to be pretty good locally compare to the other brand.

Pretty much decided on Yamaha RX-V663, but cudn't find any available stock (similarly for 863) now. New x65 model doesn't seems to be of equal/better performance according to some us/australia review sites.

Anyone knows any electrical/hifi shops selling such, especially in or near Penang island? Thanks.

Why not Denon 1909? I heard Desa KL is selling them for RM1.9k now.

So far, all the models mentioned were quoted between RM2.4-2.8k & thus purely comparing them in terms of audio performance + features, except for 663 of course for only RM1.8k

Sorry, anyone know the price of Yammy 3900? and where can I find it? I called the Legend and they don't have it and don't have the price either?? I tot this model been out for quite some time...
