Never been a fan of Matt Damon although I did like the Bourne trilogy. Caught everything in one go on the plane. But he is a good sport that Matt Damon. He an George Cloney insisted that they be i9ncluded in the movie Team America and deemed it insulting if they wasn't in it. The retarded part of his character was just a coincidence though. When they made the puppet, the outcome of it look somewhat retarded to Trey Parker and Matt Stone hence why the character was somewhat retarded and MAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN was borned.

BTW. Anyone catching the I'm fecking Matt Damon video on funnyordie.com where it's actually released should also catch The Landlord by Will Ferrell, oldie but a goodie. Also catch that Scientologist interview parody by Jerry O'Connell although it's better if you catch the original by Tom Cruise first to have an idea of what Jerry O'Connell is doing.
