QUOTE(vstar @ Mar 26 2008, 05:00 PM) iphone 16gb .. 1.1.3 .. gombak Yes you will lost the applications, but you can save your contacts with itunes.excuse me... i want ask about my iphone.. i had i phone with ver 1.1.3 ,, if i want to upgrade to 1.1.4 with my itunes in my pc.. what will happened to my iphone if i upgrade to ver 1.1.4 ?? losing data ? or i cant use my simcard again ?? tell me plz..thx You can jailbreak and activate again with ziphone program, im DIGI user so far no problem. If you are using the nextsim or whateva special sim im not sure. If you plan to restore to 1.1.4 you can follow below. In order to use 1.1.4 you need to do a restore from itunes not update but restore(update will not work). Warning!!! restore will format everything in your phone. so, remember to sync your phone contacts with itunes first before you restore. Sync your iPhone to your PC Open itunes - iphone Click restore button Wait for 1.1.4 file to download (150mb) After download it will automatically restore, so make sure don't plug out your cable from your phone After restoring Download ziphone - www.ziphone.org Extract the files and run the gui program In the program, choose "Do It All" - u will see some matrix thing in your iphone, just let it load till finish. Done! Install BSD & SSH using the installer.app I think the whole process takes less than 15minutes (excluding when itunes downloads the 1.1.4) |

QUOTE(sonicwall @ Mar 26 2008, 06:08 PM) I bought mine direct from apple store US. The price in LYN a bit higher.. but if you dont have friend going to US or don't want to risk order by mail and kena tax or hilang ur parcel, head to the LYN forums. Some of the forumers can give good price. All phones no matter in US or in Malaysia are from the same sources, all unlockable for now. |
