Yet another international DoTA tournament in the making. Electronic Sports League, the biggest eSports league in Europe has recently announced that the registration for the second season of ESL Major Series have been opened. ESL MS offered a number of games including DoTA which is the only game in the list that already open its International qualifier.
Since the tournament have become a some sort of International tournament, ESL separated the qualifiers into several nations and regions. Teams from Malaysia, China and Singapore will be pooled together into the Asia qualifier. Overall, there's 5 slots for Asian teams. That being said, I actually don't understand how the qualifier works. The charts are quite confusing.
The total prize money for this tournament is around RM 7,000 (1,500 Euro) and of course, the right to brag around that you are the best in Europe. To all Malaysian teams that is interested to join, you have till 6:59 am on Monday, 17th February to register. I hope a number of Malaysian team will join this tournament to put some mark on the European scene.
