What games do you guys play? I've only got LFS and rFactor so far. I'm just using a Logitech Momo.

Where to download rFactor car/racing series? I can't join most of the games because I don't have the required vehicle, causing server mismatch.
@antonio, marilah. What you want to play with me? Added on August 20, 2010, 3:45 pmI have been practising drift on rFactor. Turned out to be quite fruitful, at least about once in 5 times, I can get a pleasing drift. When I went back to LFS, the grip seems to be so different, and I couldn't even drift. Now I could access MSR. Thanks.
Added on August 28, 2010, 6:35 pmI'm starting to browse the forum, reading about current sessions. Where can I get to a guide to enter the servers and related files download? This post has been edited by mengsuan: Aug 28 2010, 06:35 PM |

Maybe you could add me in MSN. Perhaps we can talk about racing techniques.

I have been driving on LFS previously and recently rFactor. I'm having a little bit of difficulty in handling the car in rFactor because the throttling is very different.
In rFactor, the first few cm of the throttle doesn't seem to do anything, but will suddenly kick in to very high RPM when pressed a little bit more. I thought there was something wrong with my Momo but the Logitech properties does show that my throttle is working uniformly in the entire range and I don't have this problem in LFS. Is it normal in rFactor to behave this way? Is there a way to "smoothen" the range? |

Deadzone is already 0% by default. Will try sensitivity.

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Sep 8 2010, 10:14 PM) Still doesn't fix the problem. It feels like my throttle has deadzone, but it doesn't happen in all other games. It must be rFactor's preset settings giving this behaviour. If I switch to DFP's preset profile, the deadzone is very much gone but the range shortens. I downloaded muazrealfeel profile. Modified it a blt to match with momo's configuration. Now the throttle works better.

Yay! I managed to get the feel that I have on LFS already! I no longer spin my car when downshifting. Hehe.. must save this settings and keep somewhere safe.
Have MSR decided which mod to use for next session? |

The logitech profiler seems to give a little problem after I standby the computer. Everytime I want to use the wheel after system standby, I have to reset FFB. Otherwise the wheel loses FFB and go wild several meters from the pit. I thought I can continue driving but then it's too wild to control.
Should be software problem because it becomes fine after making the FFB reset by opening the calibration page of Profiler. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Sep 18 2010, 05:55 PM |

Just minutes ago I tried Codemasters F1 2010. Controls are not easy. Steering very sensitive, so is throttle. When FFB is turned on, the steering is very heavy, until I sweat.

Logitech Momo Racing.
I find problem changing from game to game. I started with LFS. Then when I suddenly play rFactor, I'm so not used to the throttle and braking response. Then when I try F1 2010, I feel like crap trying to steer the car. I need standardized controls! Arrgh |

You might be able to look for old stock Momo Racing wheel at shops where they don't sell much. Few months ago, I saw tons of these wheel in Midvalley and they were selling for 2xx. Last I checked they were gone already. Luckily I got mine
I never thought of warranty for wheels, maybe they have at least 1 year. My Logitech gaming mouse, G500 has 3 year warranty. Anyhow, I play my wheel everyday, no sign of problem due to wear and tear. It's durable gaming product, for gamers. Btw, assuming Logitech Momo is no longer available by any chance, getting the Driving Force GT is the best choice. By right, it is the best wheel for its price. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Sep 26 2010, 11:52 PM |

QUOTE(writeprotect @ Sep 28 2010, 12:40 PM) hi everyone.. can i join here? im also own a G27 but play with ps3.. already search some kind of this thread under ps3 but dont have... I think the RPM light only work if the game can communicate with the wheel. For example, if you want RPM lights on LFS, you will have to download outgauge plugin.i just want to know is there any setting for RPM light on the steering if u guys play on PC? or it will automaticly function for all games?? becos mine RPM light was not function if use it on ps3.. or anyone here was tested on ps3 too?? share ur experience.. tq QUOTE(james2306 @ Sep 28 2010, 05:29 PM) hey guys Bump your budget to 400 and you can get DFGT. Works in PC and PS3. Full rotation capability. More buttons.interested in getting a racing wheel setup to enhance my racing games experience. Any advice for a newbie? -what wheel to get? (budget 200?) -which game? (rfactor the best?) -anything else i should be looking out for... If you're feeling poor like me, look for Momo. |

I'm not going since maranello is there too.
Lol. Just kidding. I'm just too far incompetent. I feel rfactor is quite a buggy game for the ffb. After a while, the FFB become abnormal and I have to restore my .PLR file. Luckily I did backup last time. |

I installed drift evolution addon in rFactor yesterday. Easier to drift as they already made the car set up for drifting but my Logitech Momo Racing doesn't have larger rotation range. Hmm.. Should I buy something better like DFGT or G25/27?
