I feel you bro. Back then, Logitech had the MOMO Racing wheel for only around RM200+. That one was a great entry level wheel. I sold mine because I wasn't using it, something that I regret because there's nothing else like it anymore.

Anyway, you can get the Driving Force GT for RM395 from lingloong.

On the other hand, I just bought a minimally used G25 for RM490. Do you guys think I got a good deal? Still in very good condition.

Wanna let go ah? brows.gif

BTW guys, does anyone have any experience using IKEA's LACK table as a place to clamp to gear shifter? It seems like it's too low, but it's kinda hard to find something that's just the right height.

Anyone here use the GT ART - Folding Wheel Stand? Totals up to around RM650 (including shipping), which seems to be quite a good price.

Omg awesome laugh.gif and yeah office chair

Yeah I guess you're right, I'll start slowly smile.gif I think for now I'll just try to find another chair or just put some weights around the wheel laugh.gif

I use one of those cheap plastic chairs as my racing chair. Can't use my usual chair because it has wheels; I'll roll back every time I wanna apply the brakes sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

At least your table doesn't vibrate when the FFB kicks in laugh.gif real life rattling effect yo!

Oh believe me it does. Even the monitor shakes from side to side sometimes when the FFB is strong. That's why I'm considering getting a wheel stand.

if you guys play iRacing, you'll amazed how tough to progress. Got my D license today after 3-4 days grinding in Rookie class
My first ever win ( https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hpho...a85ba2fc623c5ea ) ...Im not fast...just consistent to keep my SR ( safety rating up )...was in 5th or 6th...until somebody in the front screwed up badly and.....I took the lead and finish 2nd actually ( the 1st got penalties due to cutting line )
*
I was on the track with you this morning at Charlotte Motor Speedway! You added me afterwards. I honestly didn't expect to meet any other Malaysians. What a nice surprise biggrin.gif

Just got the game last night, installed this morning. Got my D license after my 1st win today. It was the only good race.. I screwed up most of the rest due to my lack of on track experience with other drivers. I spun out in 2 other races, finishing a few laps behind the leaders.

BTW, if any of you want to try out iRacing, you can use the "PR-NURBURGRINGEXPO" promo code to get your first 3 months FREE.

Congrats for your first win you guys! Great to see some more fellow malaysian on the service.

Thanks! I must admit I didn't have high hopes when I was installing iRacing; thought I was going to have very high ping, making it impossible to have an enjoyable race. Luckily it's not too bad!

So, anyone here use TrackIR? Any ideas how expensive they might be?

I used to do a DIY one. It worked well. But the thing abt TrackIR is u have to turn ur head while keeping ur eyes straight lookin at the monitor.
Now we are looking forward with Occulous Rift DK2. I just received one for testing ysterday and will test it later tonite or tomorrow
*
Wow, that's a lot more affordable than I expected it to be! In terms of freedom of vision, it definitely can't beat a DK2 or multi monitors. But based on the YouTube videos I was checking out, it's still something worth looking into. Can I know how you got your DK2? Bought the kit straight from Oculus?
