True too, well I think we can still mod the DFGT to have flappy paddle by wielding flappy stuff on to the back buttons right?
just my opinion |

I think there's a LYN'er called koreng selling his new G27 for RM880..
KarHoe found G27 at Sri Comp for RM900.. As for games I'd suggest rfactor, live for speed, F1 2010 etc I feel its hard to play arcade racing games(eg NFS) with steering, ALOT easier with kb or gamepad. |

felt a little weird as I didn't needed to hit the brakes cuz with all the assist on.. well I naturally lift the gas pedal off when entering corner, might have slowed me down a little, did 3 laps from standing start around Sepang within 5:05min.

As the game is an arcadish racing game, not much difference, sometimes its even harder to play with wheel cuz normally arcadish racing game are build for gamepad and keyboard, i'm not sure about the last HP tho..

anyone here owns a Logitech GT Force Pro(LPRC-11000)? aka Logitech Driving Force Pro(DFP)?
Does it works properly with PC? with proper FFB? is it advisable to get this wheel? I feel like getting it cuz it has 900degree rotation compared to my current MOMO... This post has been edited by shirley_andy: Nov 29 2010, 12:16 AM |

QUOTE(grea99 @ Dec 8 2010, 06:25 PM) Hey guys have any idea which steering wheels have the best performance for ps3 Gran Turismo 5 and NFS : Hot Pursuit? For GT5, i think any wheel is ok, cuz its up to u to want more turning degree or not, and up to ur budget.. of cuz the more expensive wheel will give u better experience. The G27 ,G25, Fanatec Prosche 911 Turbo S wheel , or Momo racing? as for NFS, depends its the PC or PS3, cuz I don't think MOMO works on PS3 NFS, altho it does work on PS3 GT5.. QUOTE(AMDunFreak @ Dec 9 2010, 06:03 AM) sorry to interrupt, i posted a new topic in gamers hideout because i didn't realize there's a wheels thread at under hardware section. I only can answer question 1 as I haven't tried G27/G25 yet..here's my question: i want to ask how does the logitech G27 clutch function? 1. if you don't press the clutch, you can't shift? but your H-shifter you can shift right? how? by pass the clutch? 2. how does the clutch feel? (real car we can feel the clutch's friction to the power delivery) 3. heel-toe down shifting... what's the benefit of it? if you don't rev while down shifting, the engine or gear box will blown? The ability to shift without stepping on the clutch can be set in the game, eg in rfactor, it can be set auto clutch where u can shift without using the clutch or can be set without auto clutch where u'll need to use the clutch to shift.. many players like to use the auto-clutch function thus enabling them the remap the clutch pedal as brake thus making the distance of the brake and throttle less closer to each other for left foot braking. QUOTE(Oxburg @ Dec 9 2010, 09:20 AM) Hot Pursuit 2? or the new 2010 hot pursuit? If you're talking about the old hot pursuit 2, ya I tried it b4 and it works properly. Btw I'm talking about PC version ya.. |

QUOTE(grea99 @ Dec 9 2010, 04:56 PM) My budget is about RM 9xx like that which do you prefer for ps3 NFS:Hot Pursuit and Gran Turismo 5? just click reply on the post then everything settled, no need to manually quote the posthow do you insert the name at the quote bar?? uber newbie here sorry RM900+ then go for G27.. GT5 and Hot Pursuit is 2 very different game, GT5 is more towards simulation while HP is total arcade.. Google up sim racing and arcade racing if u not sure what's the difference.. if u wanna make full use of your wheel then go for GT5 of course.. |

Ya G27 provide more immersion compared to others.
But do keep in mind G27 is a 900degree wheel which can't be adjusted in PS3, only adjustable in PC.. U can ask more in PS3 wheel section here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1583320 |
