Going to buy a 2nd hand G27, any tips to check? Other than just plugin to the PC?
Check all the button , check the streering lock working or not ( er...like 340 degree those things ) , and pedal progression =). and play the shifter for a few time to see if registers
i just brought g27 i already test it and i feel the steering no ffb if the steering on the center.after i turn the steering a bit then i start feel the ffb. not like my old momo i can feel the ffb at any steering position. anyone know is this normal or not?
Here's some comparision betweem the G27 Shifter and TH8 RS

It seems ur wheel is adequate and i would advice you to bump your levels to a proper sim...rfactor or rfactor 2...or if you have a good connection iracing also nice to have...but for primary sim, usually rf would be most advisable.
For cockpit there is really not much option...either go for apiga or try to wait for a second hand to surface in the garage sale forum
