Broken Ipod, Can it be fixed?

im hv this Ipod classic 30gb gen5 ...
it has a serious crack on the front plastic cover...the plastic core cover on the front is popping out of the metal back...bout a 1mm gap in between... can it be fixed? how much will it cost to fix it? This post has been edited by sheng916: Feb 14 2008, 07:50 PM |

there is no Ipod classic 30GB.
Can you please reconfirm your ipod. I believe its a Ipod Video Black 30GB. I have both Ipod video 30GB/60GB/80GB white and Black cover. |

I think you have to change the front cover and the back metal plate.
could you please send a picture? It will surely help to understand the damage. |

Vertex Dist. is the authorised Apple iPod service ctr. They'll have the spares to fix whatever broken ipods ... screen, case, metal backcover .. etc etc.. can try and google for their contact details. They're somewhere in KL.
