i've been offere a pos in etiqa
they pay is ok, but anybody knows about the bonus?
i think i'll be a system admin or something like that

the join venture just happened recently. it's too early to tell about the bonus.

you should direct this question to the HR department. ask if there's any contractual / performance bonus. you should have ask all these before accepting the offer, aren't it?

etiqa is from maybank rite?do u know that last year maybank didn't pay contractual bonus to their employees although it is stated in the contract?

they make more profit if they don't pay the bonuses

ETIQA agent here. ETIQA used to be called MNI. Before it merge with Maybank, benefits are very good. The loan they give super good for house (if not mistaken 3%), pc (0%). now i am not sure but should be the same.

u probarbly will be based in Maybank in Bangsar.

as i heard from the agent of maybank etiqa said it is a saving and investment plan...

is it they use this method to persuade ppl buying this maybank etiqa as their technique to sell this coz mostly ppl heard insurans will straight go off

Etiqa is a quite relax and flexible company as my cousin is working there told me.

Especially on Fridays is like working half day... after the Muslim prayers at noon, the manager in charge will normally gather their staff for chit-chat which u call chat anything from b/f to g/f or from hobbies to interests and you can play games among your colleague as well.

Besides, whole week working hours is 40 hrs (8 x 5) but what is really contribute or work is only 10 hrs. The other 30 hrs, u can msn, email, web-surfing or install games in ur PC and play particularly when the place sit is a 'feng-sui' place where nobody can notice you. This is what my cousin observed.

Furthermore, like on Fridays... the office hrs ends at 4.30pm but if you need to go at 4pm.. juz inform ur colleague then u can leave and no nid to fill-up form. During lunch time, u can eat more than 1 hr which is the official time if u could not finish what u order. During office hrs, you can always go yamca with pretty gals and nobody will notice you as the company have so many staff which is quite difficult to control.

So, this company is quite recommended for marriage wife which does not have any challege and the pay is quite attractive for goyang-kaki type of jobs.
