A shop at 1Utama earlier had it out, the salesperson was playing so I asked for a test run (:
Well, it's a bit awkward holding it like that for most people. If playing FPS, I guess lay the DS3 on your lap and sit down is the best way. Very hard to stand and play with it. Which pricing mostly the same?
ya, at 1u already have a demo unit.Just went today. Im still not convinced about other games, kinda lame, but its a good thing if you can use it in fps like Killzone and CoD, will bring new heights to gameplay in terms of accuracy.
yes i know re5 bundle not entitle, but even the basic bundle with those 3 game they know the price of it, but still dunno custermer who buy the bundle can buy extra move motion at special RM118
everywhere I read, re5 dont work too well with move =.= so better dont put hopes too high
for the bundle, I dont think can, cos Capcom is 3rd party, where else the other titles are developed inhouse.

but its kinda true. PS3 was gonna launch with motion sensor, but the technology was too pricey at that point MOVE=eyetoy+six axis combined
move emphasis heavily on color detection, which was not possible due to cost at ps3 launch. damn...ive read it, but forgot the link...the history of move
the various tracking methods used, cant remember.
all I remembered reading was Move was possible due to the cheap multi-colored LED technology that surfaced somewhere along 2008-2009
The PS Move from developer's POV, said that it can emulate mouse movements very well due to 1:1 precision. Hence, we'll be seeing more PC game ported to PS3, especially rts. Good for ppl who dont want to upgrade their rig to play games.

Kung Fu Rider must be the smallest Bluray Disc game weighting in at only 594MB.
Start the Party is only 700MB so both games can easily fit in a CD-Rom.
From the small size of the game, you could easily tell the quality of the games from it. Sony just did not put in much effort into these games and it shows, or maybe it is just rush to the market.
bro ...thats y the game is so cheap and can bundle with the move thats the plight of early game titles with new controllers.
try reading this article, a nice read indeed.sony might implement kinect like cameras in the future.

Eurogamer: So you're waiting for the cost to come down.
Anton Mikhailov: Cost down, 60Hz, fewer issues, higher res. And those are all very achievable, just not at this moment.
Eurogamer: When, then?
Anton Mikhailov: You'd have to ask PrimeSense, and you'd have to ask 3DV, and whoever else Microsoft doesn't buy out by the time that...
Of course, there are other solutions we can do. There are stereo cameras, which are also looked at. Lots of other things we can even do on our own as well, so it's not necessarily that we're dependent on that research.
issues for kinect techs

There are a couple of technical issues we ran into. For example, rubber is hard to track. While nobody should be wearing a rubber suit, often belts and things make an empty section through your waist, which causes some tracing problems. Dark jeans, fresh denim jeans often completely bug the tracking out. Skirts are hard to track because you just have a single leg instead of two and without higher resolution it's hard to disambiguate. Baggy jeans. Shorts cause issues if you don't have higher res. Certain materials, like polyester.
Basically it's an infrared camera. Infrared light is not some sort of special light. It's just like visible light, but it's not visible. It's a different wavelength. I'm wearing a black shirt and if you look at it with a regular camera, that's black to the camera. The reason is because there's no light coming in from that colour. So there are certain objects that are infrared black. To an infrared light in an infrared camera they appear black. Those are the objects that are hard to track.
There are also some objects that are infrared reflective, just like a mirror is visible light reflective. Those tend to show up bright white on the camera, and then they come up as infinite depth. Those are the funky materials that sometimes just make the tracking bad. I don't know if that can be solved, but some cameras have fewer issues with them and some have more.
kinect is really overhyped...the one thing that seperates it from ps eye, its skeleton tracking, it fails at cos its low res it says in the article for hand tracking with kinect, you only have 10x10 pixel to work with, which is insufficient and hard to work on. all those hype about dance central being kinect exclusive, harmonix only did silhouette tracking, just like the pseye....zzzz so, dance central might come to ps3 next
Hi.Currently have 2 psmove no navi, and only game I have is hotd overkill. What do you guys recommend?
Is it good to have the sharpshooter play fps? Those who have played both, which is better? I mean is playing fps is as good as playing on rail shooters?
Im looking to expand either to more onrail shooters or fps. Too scared to take the leap try fps with the move, but so far enjoyed on rail shooter.
