its like, it is very hard to calibrate my movements during night time with the same game i was playing during the day....
*
what happens if you turn the lights off?
are your lights behind,on top, or in front of the ps eye?

regardless of whether my lights are behind(on top of the tv) in my bedroom or at the sides of the room(with a reflective glass door situated opposite the ps eye) in my living room, the ps eye and move work just fine in my house.

try repositioning your lights(as that's the only thing i can think off that would affect your calibration) or if that fails, try switching it off.(just to test tongue.gif )

i am using yellow light for my living room, will that be the cause ?
*
what colour does the ps move controller use?
if it's not yellow/orange, it shouldnt be a problem because the ps eye will only track the ball's colour.

have you tried Killzone 3?
the game uses a red orb(at least it does in my play through) maybe try that?

hmm.... will try playing around with the lightings abit and see how it goes.... thanks bro  smile.gif
*
just curious, what game are you playing with it?
if possible, maybe try another game that may produce a different coloured orb.

if a different coloured orb works fine, then i guess it really is the lighting-ps eye cant tell the difference between the lighting and the orb light

yanjinowaa, thanx for sharing, ya its innovative but has u compared with it with the ds3, i mean playing kz3 with just the ds3 compared with the ps move set up (eye, move controller, navigator), which one has more fun factor and easier to control? Other games u play with move, bro
*
fun factor: Move.EASILY tongue.gif

the satisfaction of killing someone using the Move is unrivaled(by the DS3)

Ease of control: mixed bag.

DS3: the whole screen moves when you use the analog stick. so turning is easy.
However, precise aiming may be abit of a pain..you lose abit of precision thanks to the analog sticks.

Move: extremely precise-you literally aim and shoot-what more could you ask for?
However, when you move the Move controller, your field of view remains static-only the cursor moves on screen. To move your field of view, you'll have to move the cursor all the way to the sides of the screen.

but all things considered, im not interested in the DS3 anymore tongue.gif

thanx bro for sharing ur exp, btw did u use the navigation and move controller for the game or just the ds3 and move ? Does move also vibrate? Heard that the freigstein combo of mouse and navigator is excellent for fps, but the drawback is it does not vibrate
*
i used my ds3 in conjunction with the Move before, but frankly it got tiresome quick-i couldnt last very long..play a couple of hours, then tired of holding the ds3..

then tried my 6 axis.
was ok for awhile, but like the ds3 it was imbalanced laugh.gif

so got a navigator:working great,now! biggrin.gif

I played the KZ Beta with it. Just rested it on my left lap with the Move on my right lap. Could play for hours biggrin.gif
*
lol...i sit cross legged on my bed, resting it works great, but get a navigator.it really helps.

plus you're free to buy a sharpshooter biggrin.gif

i guess using the navigator and the move for fps is the better choice coz i just cant imagine holding a ds3 just with the left hand lol i mean the ds3 is meant for both hands..just my opinion coz never yet got my hands on the move..u all knew better

Added on March 24, 2011, 11:55 pmbtw, has anyone playing kz3 using other than move/sharpshooters coz i saw some other alternatives weapons with cheaper prices that can also accommodate a navigator and move like the sharpshooter, price less than rm100, how good, accurate and responsive are they
*
why buy others when Move works with more games?

you should look at the bigger picture:

3rd party products-not official, may or may not work with future games. even if they do work, they may not be officially supported.

Move aka first party products-pretty much a guarantee it will work with future products. Sony seems dead set on making the Move an integral part of the PS3, so you wont be running out of games to play it with. (even if they do take a long time to arrive) you also get official support in games.

QUOTE(kakuta @ Mar 24 2011, 11:58 PM)
how do u guys position your hands while playing ?
assuming you're sitting on a normal chair.

i get very lazy whenever i wanna play move, mainly because of the setup everytime we do whenever we get in, and have to adjust the camera
cause sometimes i play sports game that requires u to stand, whereas FPS u just sit unless you're a soldier biggrin.gif
*
i just put it on my lap.

but sometimes i lie down while playing,in which case i rest my right hand(Move) on my bed tongue.gif

msq, what i mean is other guns...
*
same thing.
sharp shooter's button placement is much more ideal than other guns.
with other guns you have:

only the trigger
no access to the Move button(inconvenient to press)
no extra buttons

and other gun specific problems.

like it or not, the sharpshooter is currently the best and only option to fully experience many PS3 shooters
