Us beating Madrid 4-3 at Old Trafford but still being knocked out. Beckham's contributions brought tears to my eyes.

Van Nistelrooy missing the penalty in injury time. Triple whammy because of pizzagate, losing a ton of money from betting and not getting three points.

Scholes and Keane being asked to lift the trophy in the final on the field despite not playing in the final.

Pavel Nedved suspended for the Champions League final - I felt for him.

Will probably add Brazil beating England and David Seaman balling his eyes out.

I'm curious to hear from posters who have shed tears when 'their' national sides lose; why is it you do so? This is not a challenge, I'm really curious to know where the emotional attachment comes in.

Well if you were referring to me, I felt sad for Seaman, not England. Last World Cup and he'll be remembered for Ronaldinho's free kick? Gotta feel sad. And you have to feel for my wallet especially when Owen scored and then ........sigh..laugh.gif
