i plan to buy AL FX 6021.. any reviews frm the user which r currently using this speaker?? plz help...

I'm using one as well ... it has magnificent mids and highs but as for bass then its a lil bit on the weaker side... i have to use an external sound card with additional bass boosters to make the bass sound better...

i heard it in All IT... it just looks nice but sounds damn bad... i think the mx speaker sounds better.. just my opinion

hmmm ... what type of music were you listening to in All IT? all those techno stuff or rnb or ?

i also considered this before, but the reviews out there are quite bad, so now considering an mx5021 or edi S530D

Added on February 13, 2008, 3:41 pmAnyway i my bass is really sufficient when i put in perferct position.The bass quite controlable and play lot frequency but oni cant beat the boomy like MX5021 / klipsch.While the satelite it can say the best in multimedia speaker.

I heard some normal pop n rock songs... heard them next to each other the mx and fx... very obvious difference... Would say the mx and klipsh sounded better... Just my opinion laa... and i dun really like too much bass in songs....

me also looking for new set of speakers. Still got no time to go KL for speakers hunting. But it's a bit sad la to let got my old ACS45.1...this baby still sounds ok, but not perfect la...

the price for AL FX6021 almost similiar to Aego M 2.1...y dun u get Aego rather than altec...

tq for replying.. btw wat soundcard r u using?? mine is laptop, so if i buy lx6021, i want to gt an external soundcard too?? any recomendation?? cost around??

ya..aegoM available in lowyat for ppl to audit right now...but i will suggest u go to davis shop perfect hi-fi there to test...coz ALLIT turn on all its speaker 2gether..hardly listen the true sound...davis shop there have showroom and very queit...

by the way,u r listening to music and movie,then i can say Aego M is the best choice for u...n one more thing,Aego is now named best 2.1 PC speaker so far n u will not regret after getting this...

Techno music on FX6021 is a little too sharp for my taste and the bass lacks some punch but for slow and sentimental music, it sounds great. An average performer though for games and movies.

bt aego quality in the inside looks a bit cheap.. locally made sumore..

who cares even though it's made in local. as long as the sound quality beats a whole lot of speakers on the market. nuff said.

i only see the 'MADE IN MALAYSIA' wording on the power transformer...

like i_love_japan said,even though its local made,it sounds hell lot better than most speakers in the market in the same price range..

although i don't own an Aego M,but i've auditioned one at YuHeng's and must i say i fell in love with it but sadly no cahs to buy lol...

Acoustic Energy is UK brand, so they done they QC well n serious on music than AL tat focus on multimedia

I listen for both FX6021 and aegoM for a very long time already...if u really need side by side comparison...FX6021 excels in high bass/rock/metal /trance type of bass but no so in low bass...aegoM better in low and long throwing bass

in terms of details of satelites,aegoM is simply better..u really can hear more details even on onboard sound card(not adviseable though,atleast invest in some decent sound card)..however,the only things the aegoM satelites lack is in metal/rock guitar distortion (like those in linkin park),it just sounds not punchy enuf...(too clean?,dunno how to express)..in this kind of songs,FX6021 is better coupled with its high bass.
Anyway,in terms of vocal,instrumental,classics,soft rock,aegoM is second to none in multimedia range or its price range...it simply stunned you

So,unless u listen to alot of metal/rock,aegoM is a better deal...seems their price is so close to each other

Anyway,i will get aegoM for the price(I did owned one)..
