QUOTE(Gigalixir @ Feb 13 2008, 03:21 AM) guys, i just formated my pc and i wish to know that whether install the itunes once again, will all the files inside my current ipod be lost? if u previously select your iPod to automatically syncs with computer, iTunes will ask first whether it will wipe out all the songs r not upon connection. if wanna preserve it, just select no and then check the box of Manually Manage Music.if yes, how to preserve it? if u wanna transfer songs from the iPod to PC, there are many ways. for the 5.5 gen iPod and below, u can copy the songs using Winamp 5.5. For the latest generation, i heard that RealPlayer 11 can do the trick. But i don't have the latest generation of iPod to test with. This post has been edited by LaskarCinta: Feb 13 2008, 04:04 AM |

i'm not sure about winamp and real player. but i know one software is develop for this kind of tricks.
if u r mac user search for : iPod Disk ( freeware ) windows user search for : anapod ( need $$ ) well hope this helps. and if u choose to sync ur iPod automatically with ur computer, when u plug ur iPod into a different computer, when iTunes is launch, iTunes will pop up a message box and said ur iPod r connected to another computer would u like to sync it ? if yes all ur previous collection will be gone in ur iPod and sync with the new computer, if no then nothing will change inside ur iPod. no worry. |

QUOTE(fazlitaufek @ Feb 13 2008, 11:05 AM) oh, one cool thing about winamp (latest one i guess), that it can play the songs from your ipod like ur using one on hand. RealPlayer also can done that. but one thing to know is that Winamp can't access latest generation iPod due to encrypted firmware. But i've heard that RealPlayer 11 can access it. but i still yet to test it. good luck then! |
