Hey people..

i err having a Pioneer 2950 now.. found a buyer so thought of adding a few bucks & change to the new Pioneer 4040..
the thing is.. until now i'm still now should i change to Pioneer 4040 or should i consider Kenwood..

some say kenwood nice.. some say pioneer nice.. my friend say if want change pioneer.. change to version6 & above.. but they're all so expensive... -.-

what is the difference??

I did compare pioneer 4050UB with Kenwood 436U before. End up i bought Pioneer 4050UB cos it gave more power & solid bass. Interface also Pioneer win lo. Kenwood 1 looks like outdate design. I suggest u go to shop test sound 1st. Each ppl ll having diff taste.

6 series is the highest range. thats y your friend recommend u to take 6series instead of lower. but it doesnt differs much unless you are a ICE player. for me, 1050 is more than enough.. hahahaha

guys.. i finally come to a decision.. not really a decision..
a choice of these 2 players..

Pioneer DEH-P6050UB
Pioneer Malaysia (check out the unit)

OR

Kenwood KDC-MP5033U

6 series is not the highest series you can get there... its just the mid end...

but for that two choice... i would get the pioneer...

to answer your question... HU has nothing to do with the choices of SQ or SPL... but you need to choose a good ones so that it plays the exact way the sound engineers and producers wanted you to listen... be it SQ or SPL... so for your choice of 50-50 SQ and SPL... any good HU would do the job... the rest is depends on your tuning skills...

but still anyday i would take a pioneer over a kenwood or a sony...

and sony's SQ is no where to be "wow" about...

kenwood.... but make sure u get those range of price above RM600+...

I have tried both the brands, and i have to give my vote to pioneer. I would say it is worth for the money i spent, my RM0.02~

u compared which model 1st? and wat model u're using...?

so far no problem lo,

recommeded cd player

sony is famous with it's cd sentive problem wad haha... thats why a lot ppl don like Sony. i presonally use Sony on my previous ride.. lots of my cd-r disc cant get tru.. it wont plays the song..
