Walau, went to bed early coz got ALOT of work the next day and got ppl spamming MPSSses

yes, I did pre-order the Hasbro MPSS from TWorkers. The pre-order form shows the est. price of RM 200. Waiting for so long to arrive liao.

Now since everywhere also got MPSSses I got to wonder when Hasbro's one will come

From what I have seen to far:
TWiz = selling Takara MPSS for RM 270 (but must be member????!! not fixed price)
TWorkers = selling Takara MPSS for RM 289 (best price in SJ, not Klang Valley)

Funny that both the TWs share something in common

Anyway, MPSS arrive at TWorkers or not? Keen to get mine. I dun mind taking Hasbro version since it is the same sculpt anyway At first I want to upgrade to Takara version but since TW goreng the price potong steam already

oh, there are some differences

Like sharper fins, decepticon insignia and remodeled pilot. But if the price differences are not that much then might consider Takara.

The only thing I hope that they won't jack-up the price. Otherwise 24 hours later ppl post that Toywiz selling Hasbro MPSS at RM 200 or less then 100x DUH!!!

That's why not prefer to look for stuff at RRPs at retail stores. The heat has died down to a controllable level.... until TFA of course

I haven't tried the TFA figures at TWorkers yet. Might pay them a visit.

Went to 1U today. Surprisingly today not very crowded, in fact when I went to the roof car park of old wing one part almost empty

all money spend on CNY I think.

Scouted Jusco, TRU, Parkson and of course the famous Area 51 shop in new wing. Takara MPSS selling for RM 288. Berlambak on the wall.

I did managed to get a new haul though

The bottom is soo flat, got to find a way to pose it using the Gundam stand. Yet to transform it though.

Got my incinerator for RM 100 only. 10 cents more than the RRP with NO MANUAL & BOX. Bought it from Anime tech, top floor above TRU 1U.

Luckily the transformation is simple though. The robot mode suffers the same problem as Blackout, the tail is somewhat almost same height as the legs. So blackout got a friend with something in common.

Anyway, Jusco and Parkson and TRU got nothing interesting. TRU got a whole bunch of Final Stand movie screens which were unsold.

The place I bought from also got Stockade (RM 65, goreng), cliffjumper (goreng), ironhide grey FAB (RM 55), repainted SS FAB, smokescreen FAB and even got some ALTs at RM 160

I thought to myself, RM 100 = 10cent more than RRP and waayy before you guys get to own it is ok. Then have to fight with scalpers when it is released somemore.

Got a few TFA Bulkhead there also, RM 140 each. Got Megatron for RM 150, BB, OP and SS. Walauehh.. bigger and nicer than I thought TFA SS and Bulkhead looks so good man!!

Went I 1st enter the shop also I thought "walau, so near TRU and Jusco" I also had the feeling they are scalpers. But the stuff sold there looks new and doesn't seem to have the sticky glue of a price tag on them if they have bought them from TRU or Jusco. But they did stick their price tag on the bottom of the box though. Unless they know how to remove the glue without damaging the box that I dunno. But I know that some Jusco stuff got the "electronic" tag which might damage the box, like my leader brawl and my legends ironhide twinpack where got hole for the electronic anti-theft tag.

Anyway the price was not goreng at all, it was RRP but w/o instructions and box. Not problem for me since i'll throw the box away and can remember the transformation (almost). I also think it is not from TRU or Jusco since which scalper will sell his stuff minus manual and box to get a profit of 10cents?

Can't say for the stockade though, so have to be vigilant about that shop.


Yalah, TFs prices seem to be stabilizing with only the not-in production figures fetching high prices like MP-01s or ALts. But demand is still there however. When I was in Jusco there was this family asking the Jusco staff where are the TFs figures.

Yalah, those were the days. I remember every CNY collect Ang Pow to buy some super dooper toy I want. Or birthday only can pester parents to buy some BIG toys. Even then still got budget to content with.

I think if Hasbro M'sia do a survey on the demographic of TF buyers most probably the majority of them are working young adults like us.

Must inform Jusco to put the electronic tag, that will leave a hole on the packaging. But for TRU that cannot be help since it is small and ANOTHER price tag can be placed over it.

Sorry to burst your assumption, but rising fuel prices is a worldwide problem, not just in M'sia. That's why in the States GM is having a problem coz their gas guzzling SUVs cannot sell compared to Japanese cars. Little wonder why they use TF movie to advertise their product.

Our fuel is heavily subsidize I know, but even rocket or the moon or the "dacing" also cannot pay the bill forever. Ok, enough of politics, back to TF discussion

For my case with the Incinerator, I ask them where they got this Incinerator, their answer was:- Their supplier has some loose TF figures so their supplier asked if they want to try their luck selling some boxless and instructionless figures. The real shipment of Incinerators is due to arrive later. So it could be a preview unit like in ToyWorkers there is 1 Incinerator there where it was given to them as a preview unit. I remember b4 my offroad ironhide arrive TWorkers got 1 offroad ironhide to play with.

Off course, could be defective units from the TF factory that some wise guy export out of China, but from what I can see with my Incinerator the QC is ok. The joints are tight and the gimmick (move radar dish at the back to turn rotors) is working perfectly. Got Takara trademark 2007 and no way a KO can have such complicated gears to make BOTH the rotors spin regardless of the arms position.

So I am certain those shown are preview units, just like in Toyworkers got preview TFA figures to test out. Maybe they got them the same way as those loose bulkheads on Ebay which are from Hong Kong.

Reason for it being cheap well it could be a KO or maybe most ppl just like to have an "unboxing session" or want it MISB.

Not trying to defend anime tech, just giving my 2 cents.

I tested out the TFA figures at TW, to my great surprise some of the figures got some really complex transformations

Like BB need to twist the entire body to get the Alt mode. Only managed to transformed OP, BB and SS while wasn't able to transform megs and bulkhead to alt mode coz couldn't figure out bulkhead's arms and dunno how meg look like in alt mode

But the figures can really tahan alot of punishment though

I asked them bout the Hasbro MPSS, apparently this Hasbro MPSS delay is due to some "AP" issue concerning some "AP KING" with the main distributer. Going to be like Toyota Camry, wait like hell for the car to arrive (ours took 5 months ). So chances of seeing a RM 200 (RRP for MPSS is RM 199.90) would be naught if this AP King still exists.

Haih, at this rate might opt for Takara version instead if my patience runs out.

Then Metrojaya, Parkson Sg. Wang & Isetan Lot 10 got alot of scouts like storm surge, crosshairs and NW OP.

At Isetan Lot 10 also BERLAMBAK GILA Encore ratchet and ironhide for RM 89.90.
