QUOTE(duxz @ Feb 18 2008, 08:27 PM) yeah i have updated the laptop before the installation and i did it fresh installation i get corrupted error messages halfway in the process of the installation of windows xp. Just to be clear since i m a full time newbie on mac, wat do u actually mean by fresh installation? Wat i did was i cleared the partition drive which use to house my windows xp then i recreated a partition using the boot camp and followed by the usual steps on boot camp. fresh install means "reformat partition and install leopard without upgrading". Btw, do you use the leopard bootcamp? you have to use that punya. bootcamp is under leopard installation dvd 1

QUOTE(duxz @ Feb 22 2008, 02:58 PM) wats tat? paragon NTFS? darn mac is complicated lol.. everything is so new to me oh... by default, mac only can read NTFS, but cannot write. You need 3rd party application to make it write NTFS. Well, it is not apple fault, it is microsoft fault. Even linux also cannot write NTFS, but only since last few years ago, someone manage to develop it.
