i just bought E8200 proc recently, and i found something weird bout the temp....the core 1 temp is bout 50+ and core 2 about 40+...but the total temp is only 17 degrees ??? and the fan speed is at constant 2.9krpm ....here is da pic of the temp shown

and i bought thermalright hr03 rev. A too....after i install it(with a fan on), the temps is higher than my stock temps...stock HIS only can go bout 60+ max, but thermalright went up to 80!

advice needed

try using more viable softwares. Like Coretemp 0.95.4 to see accurate reads for your cores. GC i am not too sure.

ah, problem solved, i flashed the bios n get accurate readings....but, the temp is 55 on idle...isnt that too high?
somemore new intel stock heatsinks are so thin, not like last time fat fat 1, heatsink height bout 2cm only......and i still kenot solve my thermalright thing

A lot of software still cannot tell the right temp for Wolfdane.

there are already threads for this
