I've gone through the whole pinned thread about the postage in this section but i still have doubts on the postage.I might need some experience people to guide me on this.

Normally the forumers are selling not-so-bulky items whereas i'm selling shampoo, and conditioner ,each weight 0.55kg(550ml each).Normally the customer who needs me to do postage will buy 1 or 2 bottles from me.I don't expect a high postage rate for 1 bottle but i don't know about 2 bottles. The wrapping plus the 2 bottles are quite an amount already.

In the pin thread, some items >1kg can cost from RM8 to RM18.And i'm really not sure about this already.By the way,i haven't dropped by and enquire the pos laju's staff properly yet.I did drop by but they are almost closing and they look at me like i'm some stupid girl when i approach them regarding on this.

A few questions that i hoped it can be answered:
1. For a normal shampoo size,do you think pos laju will charge me by weight or volume?
2.For 2 bottles of shampoo, what's the recommended wrapping to be?Is it sufficient just to wrap it by lots and lots of newspaper sellotape to make sure the items won't move?
3.According to your experience, would you please estimate how much the charges is for a bottle of shampoo as well as the rate for 2 bottles.

Thanks a lot!!

1. They'll calculate both volumetric and weight IF the size of your parcel exceeds 30cm.
2. You might wanna try some bubble wrap? Seal the cover with celotape so that it won't leak.
3. It depends on the weight of your parcel. If it's below 1kg it should range around RM7.xx-RM8.xx.

I think the weight is first 500gm RM5.50 then subsequent 200gm is RM2.00 so I reckon your total weight of the two shampoo to be between 1.2kgs so total should be RMRM14.00

Atcually... u may try to contact with the private courier to help. U also can open an account to them if you always have a lot of stuff to ship. Much more cheaper, faster & reliable.
