Depends on girl lor. U get those more "down-to-earth" one who don't mind u just give her a nice card and kiss on V-Day and then big celebrate the following weekend - mah no need to pay exorbitant flower / dinner rates lor.

But some of those more romantic/dreamer type girls ... really got no choice one ... and I think you are still studying right? So it's OK, but when u come out work, girls will expect you to spend a certain amount on them ...
