ah crap... falcon range was one of its biggest plus. love the falcon, but have to admit it needs a nerf. bringing it closer to the battle will make it more vulnerable, but in very small engagements it will still be a deciding factor. the lack of rage in the forums probably means that this isn't going to change much.

stealth bombers: pure win. i got pursued in a stealth bomber by evil edna in her 20km/s crow, and it was all i could do to not get popped and cloak the moment i came out of warp. now with a covert ops cloak, AND anti-bs weapons, this will be very nice I know elite likes using sb also, he'll prolly have some fun here

also: finally, my widow isn't useless! except that i don't think i'll be anywhere near a cynojammed system anytime soon, so meh.

also, in other news, i missed out on a thanatos kill was messing around outside kamela station with a bunch of people, then jadeconstantine comes in with her carrier alt to rep a minnie geddon. much smack and garbage in local later, the stalemate ends and amarr militia go about their business. 20 mins after i logoff, some amarrians get together, jam her carrier, probably knock it off station, hotdrop a dread and another carrier and pop the thanny, as well as her curse. i was sitting there in my manti for the longest time waiting for people to sort their shit out and missed the action -.- wtf/.

edit: i loled so hard when i saw the killmail... the amount of stupidity in local was ridiculous.

confirm. the hole really is so big, and therefore has a 100% cosmic signature that will show up on the on-board scanners, saving time and effort in probing. it leads to the system Dan5-a55, which has the new Sleeper BS-sized Worm NPCs, really making the entry a wormhole. as such the wormhole is completely stable with no chance of going critical and collapsing, and has an infinite lifetime with no chance of decay. the stability cannot be disrupted by the passage of ships through it, and is not restricted by mass, allowing the entry of multiple titans at the same time. within the system there is a toxic cloud that does the equivalent damage as a minmatar Gjallarhorn, except that it bypasses ALL resists and is effectively untankable.

Breaking news:

Minmatar Militia pilots had a fleet comprising of several Battleship class hulls with support, but refused to engage an Amarr Militia fleet of roughly the same size. The Minmatars remained in station in the system of Auga, occasionally undocking to observe the Amarrian fleet outside, and rapidly redocking whilst awaiting for reinforcements to arrive.

The Minmatar Fleet Commander then engages in a parlay with his Amarrian counterpart, and proposes a meeting place for an engagement, and dictates fleet types, requesting for Tech 1 Cruiser class hulls and below. With this request made, the Minmatar fleet massed up in Auga, undocking and warping to a safespot in the system.

The Amarrian fleet withdrew to nearby Kamela to re-ship down to smaller ships, with many choosing Tech 1 Cruiser hulls and Frigates. There was a call by a fleet member to bring a Battlecruiser hull, as he did not have immediate access to anything smaller. The Fleet Commander specifically told him twice in no uncertain words that there would be nothing larger than a Cruiser.

The Amarrians then proceeded to Auga, and waited on the gate while the Minmatars waited in their safespot. Orders were then given to warp to the asteroid belt near Auga V's second moon, and both fleets dropped out of warp and began fighting immediately. Tanis Khan's Rupture on the Minmatar side was called primary, and went down quickly. Several more Minmatar Cruisers and Frigates were shot down soon after, and the Minmatars withdrew from the field.

They then proceeded to accuse the Amarrians of not adhering to the terms and conditions of the engagement, specifically pointing out the presence of Tech 2 Frigates, a Tech 2 Falcon Cruiser and a Battlecruiser. The Amarrians respond that the Falcon and Battlecruiser hull were incidental to the battle and not part of the main battle group. They also mention that the request was for Tech 1 Cruiser and below, which technically should encompass Tech 2 Frigate hulls.

With furious rage, a Minmatar pilot then proceeded to undock a Typhoon-class Battleship and warp to the belt, where the Amarrian fleet was mopping up the spoils of the battle. The Typhoon then proceeded to engage its smartbomb arsenal, and with the immediate recognition of a lone Battleship warping in, the Amarrians respond quickly by keeping out of the area of effect weapon range. The Typhoon is called primary and shot at, but the time taken to chew through its hull subsytems, with a Damage Control II module and six Reinforced Bulkhead II modules allows the Minmatars to field several more large ships, forcing the Amarrians to withdraw.

Subsequently, the Amarrians regroup and warp back into the belt, and surprise several remaining enemy ships, and claim another Rupture as a trophy.

tl,dr: Minnie Militia too scared of engaging Amarr Militia. They send invite with time, location and dress code. Amarr Militia RSVPs but declines to elaborate on ship type and loadouts. Amarr FTW, Minnies cry cheats, and run away hiding again.

I was trying out my new itty V (just got gal ind V) so it didn't affect me. Less work for me actually haha.
Golem lah, for the TB/painter bonus and reduced ammo usage. Loot as you go with 3 TBs is the best way to do it solo.
Then warp back to bookmarked wreck spheres in a 8x salvager I cormy to mop it up.
Might give it a go with 2x deadspace small boosters instead of the x-large Gist one.

Golem's dps is average, but can tank a bit. The time compression when tbing while pewing is the biggest factor though.

i lied about the above, i did lose a ship a bit earlier, and it was on the day i moved out to 0.0 for the first time. went out ratting in a drake and barely 10 mins in, a wt myrm comes in and pops me. first loss to another player, and i was so panicky i didn't know what to do really... and the worst thing was, i would've gotten out and safe if not for the frickin' frigate RAT that was with the 2 bs rats i popped, which SCRAMMED me just as i was about to hit warp, 5 seconds before the myrm came in -.-
