Stock clarion Rear (no money to upgrade yet)

Hehehe as u can see,every few months when i save some money i do up my ICE or when i see a good deal..since im just projecting on this car,been messing around with a lot of different components and when i dont like it i just rip it out and sell to my frens then buy new ones.What i can say is i love this setup for metal and rock songs and the sub really kicks a$$ massively.Took quite some time to find nice front comp speakers as i was using Sony xplod 2-way (hated it) and dynaquest rear mid-bass (hated that as well)

Now nid to shop for new amp cuz the v12 is really bullshit.Its not even close to putting out 480W total as compared to its 1000W stated (was a noob when bought it few yrs ago) and it overheats like an oven when used for 30 mins on normal volume.

To all noobs and low budget shoppers, dont ever buy V12 amps cuz they suck big time.save a bit more money buy a better unit.Any1 can recomend a good unit to power my sub? i tink 200 rms 400 peak..

oh if ne1 needs to know how to diy the above stuff can ask me since i do all my car work myself.dont trust shop felas.Glad to help out fellow lyn diy-ers

What brand u planning on getting?

u will use the v12 for front / rear speakers, then get new amp for woofer, rite ?

Currently pinjam my frens caliber 4ch for my rear and bridge for sub..the v12 oly front and tweeters la..so capalank wan..

uhhh sifu, why u wunna power up the rear speakers huh? doesn't that make the sound funny huh? err duno whut the term they called la .. something like staging/imaging..

from my opinion...

get better 4 chan amp.min 75x4 RMS ...ur 1000w is PMPO..it could be less than 150RMS
by the way to know if the amp had enough power or not,look at the fuse at the rear of the amp
both fuse should give total atleast 60amp

get 8" bass-mid for rear for better sound staging...set rear amp freq at 80hz
front amp freq should be set at 120hz
woofer at 6050hz

and get some good quality pre-amp.dont ever buy cap ayam pre-amp
better get vacum-tube pre amp..

nola,all powered by amps,front and rear..and imaging is how humans perceive sound as the observer should sit in the middle with front and rear speakers equi distance from him.since in the car,the driver position is fixed in the side,so to obtain good imaging,must bring the left and right speakers closer to the center so there is no latency in the sound that reaches the obeserver.(Driver hears right speaker earlier than left)

Staging is the placemnt of speakers to produce a stage effect,such as raising the tweeter mounting to A-pillars so that it seems that the vocals are comming from a singer whos placed on a stage.

This is what ive gathered so far,correct me if im wrong...but susah wanna play around with imaging,need custom panels and all..

For budget type, u can get this Night Kids 2 x 220RMS (1200W Max)
around RM499.
if hv more money, go for Infinity Basslink 4Channel RM799.

no idea... but i saw a lot of brandless v12 out there.. design looks like alpine one.. they say gud..

oo..but depends what youre using your amp to power also la bro..if use v12 power cap ayam speaker should be ok because the low end speaker has low rms and peak also so no strain on the amp..
