I'm not sure about others, but I'm targeting this phone mainly because of its touchscreen, handwriting recognition and 5MP camera. Really hope that there is no major issue with the camera functionality.

I did consider to get N82, but I really need the touchscreen and handwriting recognition badly. Then just when I was about to get my hand on P1i, suddenly SE announced that the G900 is on the way with 5MP camera and wireless b/g. So now, the target is locked.

Yeah, I like the 5MP camera and xenon flash on N82 too. More over, it is now available in black color. I'm just not sure how convenient it is to edit documents and spreadsheets without a stylus.

i just got my g900 2 days back. am enjoying all the functions. u guys better get 1, or maybe wait for its own facelift model next year. pic quality is so good. not so hightech as the se cybershots but i can deal with it. res are high, white balance, image stabiliser, red eye reduction, photo fix, touch focus and the other basics. very decent 5.0, best 5.0 in the market now. other than that, sound quality is very acoustic touch, very good sharp. it is as loud as w550i or slightly softer...has huge list of equalizers, best of all mega bass.

Bro, how much did you pay for your G900 (ori/ap)? Can please list down all the accessories that came with the phone? Thanks.

yeah, i'm not too sure either whether it can being considered as the best 5.0mp phone in the market without a better flash compared to other camera phones.

btw, may i know of any news on the facelift model for next year?

I've just finished reading all the postings in esato forum on the SE G900 discussion. Not too bad based on the responses from the users on the camera function. Looks like the phone is not that bad at all to take pictures. Waiting to get mine soon...

After searching for quite some time, finally got the chance to see and touch the actual G900 phone in lowyat last Saturday. Nice phone and the d-pad and other buttons are easily accessible. Quoted price for the AP set was RM1,760 but managed to negotiate to RM1,5xx. Didn't get it yet because I'm still waiting for the ori set to be released and to do a price comparison first.

a little drawback on this device, it only support WIFI B... come on SE... my nokia e51 support b/g...

I'm surprised that only wifi b is supported. It is stated in gsmarena that it is wifi b/g. Unfortunately, I can't find any wifi specs in the official se website. Anybody can help to confirm?

Bro, the list of languages doesn't include Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Does that means it doesn't support any Chinese language?

Not bad on the pics, but all were taken during daylight. Any link to pictures taken during night time?

Any suggestion on where to check the price and availability of an ori set?

Thanks.

If I do not want the bluetooth headset to be included in the package, will I get the ori phone in a lower price? How much is the bluetooth headset worth?

I was suppose to check on the G900 price last Friday at Atlantis SS2, PJ but went to the wrong shop which is a few shops away, didn't check what is the shop name.

G900 AP set without bluetooth headset: RM 1,230
G900 Ori set with bluetooth headset: RM 1,580
G900 Ori set without bluetooth headset: RM 1,500

I'm still doing survey on the phone before buying it.

BTW, can anyone tell me what is the model of the bluetooth headset that comes together with the phone?

To all the bros that are planning to get the G900 phone in lowyat plaza, please make sure you walk around and survey the phone price first. I surveyed the phone price recently over there and all the shops that I asked quoted me with higher prices, around RM1,6xx to RM1,7xx (ori) and RM1,3xx to RM1,4xx (ap), where else the pricing that I got from other shops in SS2, PJ and Selayang Mall was only around RM1,580 (ori) and RM1,2xx (ap).

Remember to also ask whether the phone comes with a bluetooth headset. Some of the shops that I asked do not have the headset included with the phone.

Huh, which part of the phone that looks gayly? Just because the phone model starts with G?

If the phone owner likes the phone, who are we to judge how much they should pay for the phone. Show some respect lah...

I cared on what you said because I wanna get the phone mah. Since you said the phone looks gayly, so I wanna get your opinion only. I'm afraid later people see me using that phone will think I'm gay.

My point is that don't simply call people stupid, that's all, nothing serious.

I just want to get confirmation, changing the phone CDA from Singapore to Generic World (GW) will disable Chinese character input, right? If I'm not mistaken, that is the case on SE P1i.
