Hi there.

I was trying to post up topics of selling of overstock of old chargers meant for spares however it was taken down. I'm just posting it up for my friend who's in the business of selling handphones and repairing them so I'm not getting anything.

The reason the topic was taken down was cause I couldn't post up pictures to verify the chargers. I don't see how I can since last I took pictures was like a month+ ago of my stuff then camera went bust again like the old one (This time the second time). I offered fruitie and vikingw2k to take pictures of my stuff if she and he wanted to but it was declined. Anyways:

1. I see lotsa threads without pictures of items the people are selling anyway. For example electronics, spare parts, handphones, etc. Now, I've highlighted some to the persons said but I got no feedback from them; even their own threads remain open with this criteria. Go through Garage Sales and you see majority of threads like that. I got no argument with anyone but I don't understand why all of a sudden my topic got locked and deleted.

2. Photos taken with claims in the topics saying they're selling AVAXX, ZITRON, originals, etc. I see that the majority don't even show these out. I don't see the need to unless the buyer complaints. Same as my stuff. Sometimes even when you get photos the stuff might not be what the photos show. Like for example NOKIA N95s shown but NOKlA N95s being sent to the buyers.

did u include [WTS] upon the title and did u make multiple thread?

It was like a normal thread. Nope, the complaint was only that I didn't post up pictures to verify? I don't see other threads being closed because of this.

The reason for me to ask for the pictures is because there are many 3rd party chargers available in the market now.
And, vikingw2k asked me to request the pictures from you. However, you told me you could not take any and wants to sell one unit for me just to take the pictures.
Of course, I can't accept such offer.

I don't see why my topic is being targeted when there are lotsa other topics out there which do not have pictures.

I did reply nicely by asking if you could help take the pic but it was declined. So there are lotsa other threads out there without pictures and even those with pictures don't mean much as the sellers might send out other stuff. Why not close them all? Like I said, even though you took pictures and said it was original, another person might be wary.

i think there is double standard in this forum.
For example, if ure a fren of the mod , u get the benefits such as mentioned from u.
Unless the seller is a trustable and has a long history in lyn, then he deserves the benefit of doubt.

Well, when did you offered me? I don't recall you offering me to take pictures of your stuff. I've mentioned to you that we suspected that your chargers are not original and your thread will be remain closed if you can't provide pictures of your chargers.

p/s: Hit the REPORT button should you come across any threads selling imitations and we'll look into it.

the main point is not about thread having no pic being targeted, but the nature of the items sold. accessories like charger, casing etc are highly associated with imitation product, therefore proof is essential. like you said, "even those with pictures don't mean much as the sellers might send out other stuff." but at least LYN has taken the step to ensure what they claimed to sell here is original / does not violate any rules in the first place.

So persons selling stuff like third party fans, batteries are all let go so easily? Scour through all the threads and you can see so many of them around, I don't have to hit the REPORT button each time to get you guys to look into it to see that there are so many other similar ones but only my thread was locked? The nature of all the other threads are so much more obvious. Sigh.



You don't get my point. You mentioned casings; A+, B+ and all grades are considered imitations yet they are sold openly. I don't see these threads being closed? Just something I see; majority of threads r similar so why aren't these closed?

P.S: Without looking really hard, you can see so many of them..

You might not see closed threads as some were deleted straight away to avoid forumers from buying from the seller. We closed / delete threads selling imitations whenever we spot one at Trade Zone and we are thankful that some helpful forumers help to report to us whenever they spotted one. Don't whine if you don't even bother to hit the REPORT button on suspicious threads. You might wanna do a search on my posts and you'll know how many threads I've closed every week.

your thread might have been reported and that is why action taken. it might be as simple as that, and explain why you are feeling being targeted but not other. make sense no?

listen, it is not difficult, just take a pic of proof of genuine or whatever as demanded by TZE or moderating team, and upon satisfactory judgment, you can continue your sale. there is no point dragging in other seller, you dont know what procedure they have gone through/comply or if you are in doubt, hit the report button to fair. if you are lazy enough to report, frankly I admit I am lazy to go through the threads out there too, unless report has been received.

regarding your first post second point. that is what the LYN are trying to prevent. if they claimed they are selling avaxx or zitron set, eventhough without pic, we are comfortable that they are selling and sending what as claimed, as Zitron Nokia N95 is easily distinguished from China Nokla N95, but not to stuff like the RM10 casing. so far I have only heard ppl buying imitation headphones etc which was claimed as original, but not any Nokla n95 claimed as nokia n95 by seller in LYN.
