Funny you should ask - my 8 mth old macbook pro stopped working completely just before the CNY. Got it to Axis Computers in PJ on the Monday following CNY. Received a call by late afternoon letting me know it was a logic board problem and a new board had been ordered. Received a call on Thursday afternoon asking me to come and collect the laptop. The tech guy waited for me to collect even though they were technically closed by then. Didn't have to pay a sen since it was still under warranty.

Painless experience and 2 thumbs up for the service I received from Axis. Definitely recommend them to sort out your mac problems!

Good luck with the repair. There is a thread in the apple support forum about an out of warranty logic board repair - the guy was quoted USD 1200 (USD 1000 for board and 200 for labour). Might be better buying a new laptop

Added on March 9, 2008, 1:37 amI finally fix my macbook. Its actually nothing big, i accidentally unplug a cable near the ram slot. I just want to tell all macbook owners to be careful while changing the RAMs. Here's a picture that will explain it all. biggrin.gif
