I would suggest a KVM switch and a vga cable for HD 360 input(rm50 3rd party) , and the kvm switch will allow simultaneous 2 vga input for the monitor .
Either way if your monitor had both DVI and VGA input , then it saves all the hassle .
Technical Sharing monitor?, Can share monitor with PC and console?

Nono the Vga box will only accept composite video/s-video which will in result non-HD horrible graphics for the xbox .
