Try to eat more healthy foods, such as fruits, and stop taking cold water or etc, few days before you expect the period to come.
This way, you can lowered the pain, etc.
Another thing was to stay as healthy as you can. There's actually no pantang when period come, if the person is healthy enough, even drink cold drinks during period come is no matter at all.
