Not sure if I'm posting on the right section but I'm looking for the original xbox component cables with optical out (NOT the Xbox360 but the original black thingy). Anybody has any leads?

I do have the monster component cable for x360....with monster optical output.....any takers

i'm hunting for one also, Xbox HD AV pack with optical out...
i tried to put WTB in garage sales also no news...
but i got a few offer for the X360 component cables thou...

Hmm..this Xbox component cable is really a rare thing to find nowadays eh? I used to remember last 2 years ago, I sold off my xbox component cable here in Lowyat.net. Couldnt remember the price. I think around RM90 like that.

at play-asia got but not original microsoft one. 3rd party one: XCM. I bought one, the quality is good.

play asia punya XCM don't have the optical out, the one we are hunting for is the one with optical out, commonly known as Xbox HD AV Pack

with the normal composite cable we can't get the digital DTS audio

But after searching for so long, finally a good forumer here are willing to let go of his one for me

the original ones are no longer in production. kinda hard to find, even in singapore (unless u know where to find it, i didnt see any when i was there). i got a 3rd party unit from eBay, around rm70+shipping iirc. works fine with 720p/1080i & AC3/dts on XBMC.

Hard to find is it? I bought one (ori 360 component cable) a long time ago as a backup or if I wanted to play my Xbox on a TV instead of monitor. Sitting in my drawer doing nothing lol!

anyone still hunting for the old xbox component cable, I still got one lying around, still brand new in box.

It's a PS2/Xbox 2 in 1 component cable which means you can use one cable to connect to both xbox and PS2 at the same time. Audio is stereo as this cable doesn't have digital optical out.
