Touch newbie here.....

I have a 1st gen 1GB ipod nano. Recently I bought a Touch (16GB; 1.1.3). I installed the latest version of itunes & started synching music, videos & stuff using my existing nano USB cable. Some songs become corrupted when transferred to my Touch. The song plays ok on my pc & nano. I have swapped the cables, now using the new cable that came with the Touch, re-synched & now all ok. I guess newer ipod dock connectors are wired differently.

1) The 1st gen nano usb cable connector has buttons on the side that you have to press to unplug. But the new Touch connector is shorter & does not have the 2 buttons. So just simply pull out to disconnect-kah?

2) I grabbed some you tube videos using orbit then converted using videora. When I play the videos on my touch, some videos stutter & blanks out momentarily at the beginning then continues smoothly till the end. But the same video plays smoothly with itunes on my pc. Anybody else experience this?

TIA

2.) Known Videora bug. Get DVDSoft's Free Studio Manager and use that to convert the videos you're having problems with instead. I did the same, turned out fine.... wink.gif
