Generally, they have a good price on commonly used items such as OPAMPs, certain regulators etc. They offer free shipping and discount (for students) too. There are plentiful things to do with Farnell, you just have to know how to do it right. Of course don't expect to buy something common and expect cheap price. You should be using Farnell for rarer parts.
