I'm currently using the title-mentioned motherboard. I had been reading reviews on the motherboard to check if it can be overclock or not and it turns out that the motherboard is good to go for overclock purpose. I had also read some overclocking guide online and seek help from online forumers as well but the thing is, in the M.I.T screen of the B.I.O.S setting, there is no CPU Clock Frequency option available! I'm sure that option play a role in overclocking a system. Do I need to flash the B.I.O.S to get that option? I had already hit the Ctrl+F1 to get all the hidden options but that particular one just doesn't seem to appear.
If this helps - I'm running on an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 on the title-mentioned motherboard with 2GB of kingston 667Mhz RAM. Is there anyway I can get that CPU Clock Frequency option to be available and if so, how can I overclock my rig to 2.4Ghz?

I went through the motherboard manual and realize that the options available in the reference image under the M.I.T screen is slightly different than the one I saw on my monitor. In the manual, it has the cpu clock ratio and it says that the setting is automatically assigned by cpu detection. anyone with a intel core 2 duo e6300 with this function available in their M.I.T screen?

I'd check the B.I.O.S again and yes, the C.I.A. 2 feature is disabled and I had tried to lower the system memory multiplier but still, overclocking seems nearly impossible for this rig of mine. Sigh. Any expert out there using a Intel E6300 with the title-mentioned motherboard can guide me in overclocking? I appreciate.

hello developer. previously I was depending on the integrated one but currently, I'm using a GeForce graphic card. Thanks to titan-x and general_iodin, I manage to push my processor to 2.0Ghz but then it wasn't stable also. It restarted by itself after 5 hours and all the overclock settings that I performed was changed back to default setting automatically. Sigh.

hello hoodlums. that is cool indeed but i wonder why I can't overclock mine eventhough there are list of users of the same processor, who had overclocked their to near 3.0Ghz! If you are saying that with the GA-945G-S3 motherboard, its possible to overclock and with all the users who had overclocked their E6300 processor, then it shouldn't be a problem for me to overclock my computer system but unfortunately, things isn't progressing at all.

Anyone out there? A little help please...

Thing is there is no such option available to lower the multiplier and yes, I'd try setting the ram multiplier to 2.0. Unfortunately, after awhile into the using the computer, it will just halt and restart and everything is set to default. It's like it just won't accept any overclocking but I hope I'm wrong about this. What type of PSU? I'm not sure if it's cap ayam brand or not but I see a "Sonic Gear" on the PSU and it's written there 250realpower.
